I think it's debatable if Bitcoin can distance FIAT, but my opinion says that it takes time, but not for now. Bitcoin can be converted into dollars that is important, but if bitcoin has taken control of the world, the conversion to the dollar is not important.

I read the local news, and there is several articles that made me interesting, a few weeks ago, the mobile version of the Bitcoin wallet bitcoin platform decided to eliminate the conversion of bitcoin currencies with USD. then replaced with Satoshi.

the decision was taken to eliminate dependence on fiat currency. because bitcoin capability if converted to fiat, will interfere.

developer samourai wallet says "farewall fiat" or "goodbye fiat".
Actually Fiat is really helpful when converting our bitcoin. Without fiat bitcoin is also useless because the use of this currency is not too much in some countries. Many bitcoin holders definitely want to use fiat, in the real world the use of fiat currency is very useful in everyday life compared to bitcoin.

Stay and remain observant or watchful. We are still very excited about the Bitcoin invention. But I am still not certain if Bitcoin has the true capability of eliminating fiat or the US dollar.

If you say goodbye to fiat, then how do you expect people to buy bitcoin when you won't accept fiat for it? We should not be too hasty to cast away fiat exchange for btc till bitcoin becomes 70% globally accepted at least.

in fact, this is the right decision because if we want to introduce bitcoin into the whole day life, then we should not constantly equate it with the dollar

if we still can't say now for FIAT and USD goodbye. because there are still many communities and countries that have not joined the digital world of bitcoin. maybe in the coming year FIAT and USD will no longer be used ..

Go back to Gold standard, paper money is not reliable.  It is even not worthy than a toilet paper.

The basic requirement to use Bitcoin and any other altcoin is to have knowledge of internet and connectivity. However, the global literacy rate is not impressive especially when it comes to the technology and hence there will be the people who will always use Fiat currency irrespective of the advancement taking place in the digital sector. Thus, I don't think that Bitcoin or alt-coin will destroy fiat currency at all.

You can not totally say good bye to fiat money or USD knowing fully well that bitcoin is traded generally against USD and USD also determine the value of bitcoin. New investors needs fiat to convert their currency so saying good bye to fiat or USD is not a welcome idea yet until we have cryptocurrencies acceptable worldwide and in all ATM.

in my opinion if only this really happened, there would be a bad impact faced, because after me, a pair with USD could make the coin price stable enough, more or less we say more like a stock exchange trading. This USD plays an important role to avoid price fluctuations

that is a good thing in advancing btc, it's just that it takes a long time to leave usd or fiat. because basically to leave usd or fiat depends on the authority of the government.

Bitcoin is not yet fully-regulated so there's still no "goodbye fiat or USD". Newbies in cryptocurrency still needs fiat. If they want to buy or invest bitcoin, they still need to use fiat to buy bitcoin or any altcoins in some bitcoin ATM's. And there are still places who has no internet connections. There are still lot of things to do after this happens.

I have not been able to leave Fiat, because Fiat still has an important role in my life, to fulfill the needs of my life and also my family is still the fiat that I use. And I think Fiat still survives because crypto cannot replace the role of fiat in the real world.

if that is true and becomes reality then it is very good and cyrptocurrency especially bitcoin will be more and more people who use it and will leave using usd. I myself prefer to use bitcoin rather than money, because bitcoin has advantages that are not owned by fiat money

This will not happen because everyone needs fiat and bitcoin will not replace the national currencies, as governments will not allow it

I think fiat and USD will stay whatever happen to crypto because it is important. When you buy crypto you need fiat or Usd. If you want to exchange your tokens before you can use and spend it you need to exchange it first into fiat money. Also fiat and Usd are centralized currency issued by the government while cryptocurrency is decentralized and intangible digital currency. It is difficult to say goodbye fiat and usd or just we say it may happen someday maybe it takes more years but i still doubt it to happen.

Bitcoin has many features which fiat currencies can never provide to its users and that is the reason many prefer using bitcoin over USD and other major fiat currencies even they are well established but in order for bitcoin to use widely by people in the world over fiat money it should be much popular as a good payment option in the real world through adoption so many anyone who has bitcoin will have many options and freedom to use it anywhere anytime for essential needs and if that day comes we can definitely say good bye to fiat and USD

Having said that I think its inevitable that fiat will continue to devalue to the point where people just all don’t want to be part of the traditional monetary system anymore. It will eventually be replaced by a bitcoin similar to its current form just with much higher throughput and much lower fees (effectively free) with instant provable exchanges to anyone that’s anonymous and easy to build on.

Bitcoin's benchmark now is still very dependent on fiat, I think it will take a long time for bitcoin to really be able to leave fiat
