What problems cryptocurrency will face in the near future?

Currently, the biggest challenge or problem that crypto market is facing now is on how it will be properly regulated and how to avoid using it to scam an investors. Honestly, that is one of the reason I am seeing why some countries are still not accepting cryptocurrency and avoiding those ICOs. To overcome this problem, there must be an international government organization who handles this type of issues and creates rules and regulations that should be followed. I don't believe AI will be a way to save an investors from hacking or scamming where these AIs itself might also become a reason to lose your funds without your knowledge.

Soon, the AI technology will come and now the technology still develops and still need to test before it fully operates. The AI will help crypto trading, and the AI will be another solution for every trader in the market, but before this is happening, the market needs to evolve to something new. I don't know what it is but it might something different than before. The market itself will always move to the better way since we can see the market will delist some coins that don't have a good volume in their sites because they want to look at the crypto is growing for a long time.

I also agree with this, the newcomers are always tempted by the existence of shitcoin without having a clear team and project, especially when the bitcoin market conditions are so bad, the scammers instantly turn into a whale and manipulate prices.

Yes i am fully in same hand with that word. Still now there are some gamlar who doing play into market. So day by day there will come many scammers and market will be so riskey for real investors. People will fail to target real tokens in market. That will be a great challenged for cryptomarket.

In the next five years, its sure that crypto currency would have grown beyond what we could envisaged at this moment because studying the recent trend of researches in the next five years everything would have crystalized to the surprise of many. The only challenge I see will be the conflict between faiths. Five years from now, of course several countries would have been more open to accepting the new currency. The concern would be the people who will still be conscious of the religious connotations a currency that is uniform to the world will be bring and that will be faced with series of propaganda on another level but the moment that can be surpassed, there is nothing else holding things down.

I really agree with you, that this year back in the previous year where many fraudulent site sites and at this time many ICO makers and finally deceive Investors who invested their funds, it is no wonder that the prices of Bitcoin and Ethereum plummeted so till now ..

I agree with you, only a few altcoins are promising and should be owned. And other coins will die slowly because that is a coin scam.

I think the biggest challenge lies ahead of Bitcoin is how to redeem to the position where it was.Again agreed on previous post that Bitcoin has to deal with those coins which are almost nothing as compared to Bitcoin.But this situation arrived due the window that was opened by Bitcoin itself due to fall and now Bitcoin has to deal with it.

I think it is the volatility and its consequences. Volatility makes people not to consider coins as a payment method. Thus, coins can't have a place in real economy.

Adoption is the biggest issue in my opinion. It might not get adopted worldwide especially in developing countries. Another problem that I can think of is cyber attack.

The only problems I can think of for bitcoin are as follows;

More confirmation time - might happen when the bitcoin network is attacked or full of pending transactions.
High transaction fees - the above might lead to this as a result.
Large fluctuations - Are obvious if many people trade bitcoin on a regular basis.

All of the above have already happened in the last year and chances are that it might happen again.
