I think for me, cryptocurrency problems that will be facing are those ICO projects that keep increasing every month and every year and most of these projects are shitcoins that was created to scam people and by that the reputation of crypto is decreasing so it means the market is affcted too.

The problem of cryptocurrency in the next 5 years will be challenges of universal adoption. To my mind this will remain a huge task of which if achieved then cryptocurrency would have taken over the global financial transactions and settlements. The problem of hacking and scam have been as long as online transaction started and the fight against hacking is on with every blockchain developers doing their best against hackers. AI will also help as a new technology attached to cryoto to check the effect of scam and hacking.

Crypto currency will face of some complaint from other member and users if they do not have enough fully security for individual wallet to avoid from hacking, fully service is really tested and trusted  specially  bitcoin. for about security it needs to have additional strict to prevent a victim of the person with bad intention.

cryptos are already known to be safe because they arent hold by someone . hacking and scamming will only depend on every person and not the crypto or the wallet you use . so overall , your concern above cannot be validated as a real problem that may occur in crypto in the next five years .

in my own perspective , i dont think crypto will have a problem in the future but instead the problem that we are currently facing right now will soon be fixed in the future .

in my opinion, this will not be the main problem. the main problem will be the reliability of crypto wallets their safety and the ability to restore access to their wallets. too tion now, there are applications in which funds are held, at their abundance will be a lot of massive leakage of funds.

I am also thinking about the scam Ico’s would happening at all times if their is no regulation held in the future. Adoptions can happen in the near future so I think problems occur is to have more volatility as always. Still I think crypto could have more growth.

What problems cryptocurrency  face in the next 5 year? For me i think nothing greatest problem the crypto will face because for sure in that year almost all of the country is using and accepting bitcoin and cryptocurrency as a payment system. And Ai is not good for trading better to trade on your own than  rely it in AI.

hacking and scaming will always be there, if in the future bitcoin accepted by the world globally, then the world government must take preventive actions by making strict regulations.

besides, the slow transaction process will always be the main problem in bitcoin transactions.

I think most of it is already sayed, one more thing IMHO is to understand the function/use-case of “tokens”… some are currencies, some are licences, some look like shares or debentures, some are just around to enable the network (ETH) with it’s smart contracts, …. if you look at the use of the tokens (they are all tokens) you’ll better understand the potential of it. And you might see the upcoming problems: currency = income tax; software licence = VAT; shares = income tax, prospectus liability, SEC, FBI,FED, EBC, … ;-)

So in short think of token-as-a-coin, token-as-a-licence, token-as-a-share … not currency.

Regulation: Humans naturally crave for some amount of safety and that is needed in the crypto space by investors even when we all know it’s against the ideology of Bitcoin and blockchain.
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies where not created for regulation, like the fiat money, if the Government comes in to regulate the crypto market, to a large extend, then their would be so much manipulation in the market, in other words we are heading back to the same corrupt system we’re trying to escape with the fiat currencies. However, fiat money is needed in the crypto space to boost the value of the coin market, but the institutional investors are worried about pumping large sums of money into the space without some form of security by the SEC.
So you see, its a though battle, because crypto wouldn’t grow much further or may even crash if paper money don’t come in, and if this market gets regulated, it will be very hard for individual investors and traders to make any profit.
One thing is for sure: you can not kill good innovations like the Blockchain and Bitcoin. They may fight it at first but the battle woun’t go on long before a revolutionary innovation like this wins.

I think one problem that the world of crypto would be faced with in the long run would be proliferation on the larger market by weaker hands who would always dump the price of bitcoin. Governments all over the over would also continue to oppose bitcoin as blockchain technology becomes popular.

I think, one of the effects of crypto influence is long-term investing. and the price problem in the future may not last long. and governments around the world will not approve of crypto.

the biggest challenge in my opinion has always been the large number of shitcoins that keep being created and all the scams that they are performing so that they can make more money by scamming the newcomers. this in general is making the whole market look worse.

All people affected by fraud are people who are new to the world of coins, including the emergence of some of the latest coins, so that victims affected by fraud will be lured to make payments according to the request of the perpetrator.

If ICO projects increasing everyday i think that would be fine but indeed the biggest effect from large number of ICO is the number of scam projects also increasing too and these things will makes cryptocurrency face looks bad especially for those who hate crypto that they will makes these issue to advice people to stay away from crypto and this is not good for cryptocurrency development

the problem will not end because the cryptocurrency has an anonymous nature, so everyone can use it for crime, fraud and laundering without recognizing his personal identity. of course we must always be careful and careful so that we can avoid fraud.
