Yes indeed thanks for the reviews and updates and those yummy pics!  I requested a sample as I'm in North East USA and hope to hear back from Andelin about that.  Enjoy what looks to be some high quality beef folks.

I am working on pricing now.I will post something in a couple of days. But generally I am looking at about 5.00 per lb for hamburger, 8.00 per lb for roasts and 13.00 per lb for steaks (depending on cuts of course). Shipping will be additional cost . I am hoping to offer significant discount for orders over ten lb.

Right now I am planning to only offer to sell my best beef direct. I hope to offer something that is uniformly of  very high quality. If I think an animal does not measure up, then he gets sold by the conventional route at the local stockyards.

Tried the roast last night in the crock pot. It was pretty good. The meat was falling off of the bone.

Scoring: best out of  /10
Shipping speed 10/10
Packing 10/10
Cuts 9/10
Marbling 10/10
Freshness 10/10
Tenderness  10/10
Taste 9/10 ( I would give it a 10 but I have had cuts with more flavor)


Overall I am very satisfied and plan to be a repeat customer. Thank you!

Prices seem about right, if translated to the ones in my own country. With shipping it could be a bit expensive as it seems, but quality costs I guess.

I raise pasture fed angus beef in Missouri. To buy with bitcoins directly from the farm, e mail me at andelinpaul@hotmail.com. I am working on a website. I think this is a quality product.

 

I am in the same state (STL).  We sometimes make our own beef jerky.  Can you provide me with bottom round at a better price than costco/samsclub can offer?  Also is this some sketchy-at-home-operation or do you have a proper butcherhouse?

   I use Lockwood Packing at Lockwood Missouri. The meat is USDA inspected. I have been pleased with their services so far.
The butcher will do custom cuts to order. I have been getting a variety of steaks, roasts and ground beef. I think that the quality has been quite good. Depending on the quantity you want,and if you give me enough notice, we can do custom cuts that you want. 
  I am working on a price schedule now, but I think that the price will be very competitive for similar quality beef. You will likely get a significant saving if you order a side of beef or one quarter of a beef.
   We should have a website up soon with more details.

I have a feeling I'll be most interested in the quater cuts but I can't say so for sure it wouldn't be just me making the purchase. Also  interests in discounts for larger orders and medley types are intriguing but I'll know more of what I'd like in the coming weeks just wanted to give you some feedback.

Thanks for your responses. If any of you who responded want, I will send you a couple of sample steaks or roasts. It will be the week of March 16. I just need to get a shipping address. No charge for the meat and I will pay for shipping. It will be valuable for me as "market research" and, hopefully help with the issue of credibility. I will appreciate the feedback. I will have to see if shipping to Hawaii is possible and if so I will send you some there as well.

First of all, I want to thank Paul for shipping me a roast... It will arrive Thursday, and I look forward to roasting it up, sharing it with some friends, and posting some pics and taste test results here.

To answer the questions here:

1. For me, roasts, burgers, strips, sirloin, and ribeye.
2. Makes sense to me.
3. I'd be interest in that too.
4. Standing rib roasts, and hanger steaks.

As for escrow, I'd be happy to do it, but, if you want a real trusted name, I would use Tomatocage or Nightowlace

The more discounts you can give for larger orders the better, it will certainly increase the interest. If people order once and are satisfied, chances are they'll order larger shipments next time.

I don't think you need an escrow, the reviews you have here should suffice to show that its a legitimate business. Just use Bitpay or Coinbase to process the orders.
