The success of digital wallets in the African continent was really great and based on what I've read on news articles about it, it really helped the economy and the businesses when it all started years ago.
With this in mind, will Africans be welcoming of bitcoin/altcoin as a real currency and not just a quick way to earn cash or invest? Like using it as real money / cash?
Every country will be a good place for crypto as long as they are cryptocurrency friendly just like Japan, Europe, USA and other Asian nations that sees crypto to have potential most especially in investment purposes or businesses. They might see crypto as a good opportunity to earn decent amount of money same here in my country where a lot of people are switching into crypto investments and opportunity to earn more money theough sideline.

BIG WINNER!

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Tell you what, each and every country is trying to Welcome the crypto currencies however, its the local government that is opposing its development whenever they want to do it.

Africa on the other hand is under developed country and it could bless their economic structure with the crypto currencies as it will create inflation in their country and thus can help grow themselves a lot.

Just because of wallets and stuff it doesn't make much difference, what makes differences is real use of it within the country. This surely needs involvement of the government, private and public sectors to make this happen.

For country like Africa, its long road though.

Grin Grin Grin That video you shared really got me and just could not stop laughing when relating the video to the fact that you said Kakmakr is overestimating people. A president who could not even count, that is preposterous. I would not have thought something like that will even come out from a country like South Africa, considering this to be one of the developing parts of the African countries.

I kind of agree with the fact that it would take some time before we get to see some places in most part of Africa getting to have access to facilities that would even enable them at all to be able to make use of cryptocurrency in their daily lives, when a president is not even educated enough to complete digits. Looking at how primitive some of the leaders are in these parts of the world, having changes that would be of great help most especially when it comes to technology will be a challenge, unless maybe the learned and exposed youths with great ideas, start standing up to take charge.

I don`t think Africa can adopt crypto, because as we know and as we can see, Africa is not a rich country and not that civilized and crypto can be used only with high technology or gadgets. So unfortunately, I think it is not time for Africa to have crypto.

Why not! Besides, Africa was a big country and it is one of the continent in the entire world too.

- You know what mate that would depend on the government you have. If they would see the good benefits and advantages of the blockchain,
surely in the long run they will also do what Japan did to their country about regulating Bitcoins.

Africa is a great place for modern investment in general.

Companies and investors can make huge returns in Africa, it's one of the world's fastest growing economies.

The challenges that Africa faces are government are exchange rate volatility, increasing tax burdens, and instability in capital markets. All of these can be minimized and even solved with a stable crypto, once that's a thing.

Of course, Africa is a good place for crypto. I believe that every Country or Continent has the potential or the capability to accept and embrace cryptocurrency. and in the future, cryptocurrency will be used all over the World.

I believe that any country that supports cryptocurrency will be a good place for it, same with Afriaca. This can be a good place for crypto. I think because people in Africa are eager to invest they can engage in this crypto world as a business besides Africa is a big country.

Africa was a big country

Wonder in what year  Huh

besides Africa is a big country.

But as always there is a twist, even if they don't have a clue what the hell Africa is they can still use cryptos. So, probably cryptocurrencies are easier to use than I've thought earlier.  I can't wait to see the first dog that is trained to use BTC Tongue .

Honestly, I don’t know what the current situation is about cryptocurrency in Africa, but I know some startups that are being implemented on this continent. It seems to me that this is the best continent for mining cryptocurrencies.(Of course, in conjunction with alternative energy sources).

It will be a difficult thing to answer today,  because the African continent do not have a good economy. Majority of the people there are poor. So that it is better if they have the goal of earning money first. Then they can invest in bitcoin and with this we can say that this is the perfect time for the bitcoin to become the currency.
They will use bitcoin as their country progresses, we know that a poor economy makes its human resources limited, like the internet,
gadgets and so on, most Africans may not have that? so it takes a very long process for this..

this matter cannot be separated from the government itself which recognizes bitcoin and legalizing support like this is very important. this will help the economy and welcome the crypto currency as a safe and fast payment method

I think it's true that Africa is the only good place for crypto because it is also encouraged by its citizens who use the dollar or yen more than their own currency. This makes crypto as one of their alternatives to carry out various transactions.

Well, you're right, maybe it will also improve the quality of bitcoin. Well, I also hope that Africa is the first place to actually use bitcoin as a tool that helps their economy. can't wait to see that.

For god's sake, there are countries there where the illiteracy rate is above 60%!!! , we should talk about adopting an ABC not BTC.
I am interested in the statement that you have said ‘We should talk about adopting an ABC not BTC 'because it must really happen. Bitcoin is different from fiat currencies, barter systems and other transaction tools. Everyone must have at least a knowledge to read because bitcoin is related to technology.

In contrast to fiat currencies that one can use easily because even more, crazy people can use fiat currencies well. The most important factor for advancing a person's economy or even a country is not from a currency or their efforts to get money but the most important factor is knowledge, and how to find that knowledge one must have the ability to read and write.

I think it is justified, Africa has developed more than before. Over the past few years, the African economy has seen a marked shift. The educated people are more advanced in the manufacturing business, derived from the economy of South Africa. Now, putting bitcoin / altcoin into Africa will be a very good time for Africa to progress more in the investment and development of Africa. They will consider bitcoin / altcoin as cash using it as necessity. Crypto will be safer and more convenient to develop on this continent.

It will be a difficult thing to answer today,  because the African continent do not have a good economy. Majority of the people there are poor. So that it is better if they have the goal of earning money first. Then they can invest in bitcoin and with this we can say that this is the perfect time for the bitcoin to become the currency.
They will use bitcoin as their country progresses, we know that a poor economy makes its human resources limited, like the internet,
gadgets and so on, most Africans may not have that? so it takes a very long process for this..

Maybe not directly has something to do with bitcoin.
I read that Africa, despite it's poor country, they built a lot of blockchain that's now being use and will be sustainable in the future.
I would not be surprise if soon they'll have their own currency.

African has the potential to be the next frontier for the cryptocurrency hub. According to Rakesh Sharma, it might be the one to steal a march over other markets.
