How can we get people to use bitcoin as a real currency and not just a quick way to get cash as a lot of people seem to do? When I say currency, I mean the literal definition of currency as something that is used as a medium of exchange.
Even online, there are only a few stores who are accepting it as payment.

As of this moment there is a quite stores (physical and online) that has a method for cryptocurrency or just bitcoin. We cannot really force people to use cryptocurrency as a means of payment of every transaction, it is only applicable for those who has a wide perception for the future not with pessimists about the technology capabilities.

People who loves to explore and willing to adopt new innovations are those who we can convince to use this new system, we can't force anyone to believe with something that we understand, they have different interpretations and own assessment, what we've seen can't be enough to convince others, we can help them to understand and show them how things works but still it is there position how to adopt and analyze things about this new digital currency.

There has to have some learning to make people think its safe because the media already made a noise about BTC being related to scams, terrorism and fraud. Even if crypto or bitcoin is advertised by banks, I still do not think people will use it as currency because that's not a habit for them, they do not know too much about bitcoin and the use of bitcoin would be an inconvenience. People still prefer to use traditional currencies, bitcoin is still a stranger and does not create persuasiveness for everyone and the government, want to use popular and as a currency, I can only say is impossible now, even in the future, become the currency is inconsistent with its features

Absolutely the easiest way. People cannot understand the need for something until they start seeing the real life need for it. For now, it is hard to come by any store that will possibly be accepting bitcoin as a payment option and until we start seeing more of that, you will get to see real life adoption as well as usage popping in and people even generally willing to accept bitcoin for any value, knowing that they can always spend it anywhere.

There is usually that thing that comes with acceptance, and when people feel the ease for something, they would most definitely use it. I think as of now, Many people are interested to use bitcoin they are just doubting to engage to it because they really do not know what it bitcoin?, where it came from? and many more. Also it is not legalized yet so many people are avoiding it because they thought it is a scam which is not.  In some country there are store that accepting bitcoin, there are also a country has a ATM machine for bitcoin holders. We just need to proved to others that bitcoin can be a future money inside the internet.

Yeah, the fact that there are just very few places in the world that accepts bitcoin as a form of payment is one of the reasons people have not been able to come to terms with the idea of real life usage, and apparently, when we start seeing a lot of them popping up, I guess people will tend to see the reason and need to want to make use of it as a currency.

Bitcoin is using as currency all over the world with the passage of time it is spreading much more, although there are many countries where the Bitcoin is banned due to some reasons. Banks in Germany are now using the Bitcoin for they are to pay their loans with more benefited way that is why they are using Bitcoin as payment of loans. Due to its friction-less transaction facility with low cost make it our best choice.

Sure, crypto is being accepted in some stores online, but not on a very large scale that could make any serious impact. Getting people to use bitcoin would be a choice and the ease of usage as far as I am concerned.

One way or the other though, I believe that as time goes on, we will get to see more and more people getting familiar with the market entirely, and then we will see some maturity in the market and possibly not as huge volatility as we have it now, which would give merchants the rest of mind to adopt it as a payment method, but that would be totally dependent on so many factors.
