How can we get people to use bitcoin as a real currency and not just a quick way to get cash as a lot of people seem to do? When I say currency, I mean the literal definition of currency as something that is used as a medium of exchange.
Even online, there are only a few stores who are accepting it as payment.

I think bitcoin is used as a currency and not as a tool to earn a lot of money in a short time, first thing to do is to build trust from the government and the state, trust is very basic in making an entity a transaction tool

By providing them with a hassle free system like cash. I have seen people doing online shopping with cryptos. Shopping online isn't really a problem. People don't use cryptos much offline. There are physical cards for buying things offline. But still they are not that popular. Moreover, not many merchants accept Bitcoins leaving of course a few countries. There are too many ways that we can do to encourage other people to use cryptocurrencies as a paying process for their every transactions they want to have in the virtual life and social lives. But we must considered that there are factors why people are being hesitate theirselves to do so, like; influence of their government, news about cryptocurrencies and the lacking of funds to invest on it.

We can easily encourage people to used Bitcoin by showing them a evidence that you're get earn through it, because most people only believe if they saw a proof. Well based on my experience, the higher possibility that Bitcoin can be used by the common people is through markets, for good and any necessity stuffs, like for example in a usual apparel clothing there would be an option, like discounts cards if acquiring Bitcoin will bring some advantages to a customer probably they will acquire it up to the time that they will become a fully member, simple scenario but I know it will catch the public.

The only answer is that when government accept crypto then people will be next to them because the government has the power to rule people if they implement that surely the people will now use crypto.

But people also prefer to have a currency that is not being intervened by the government and the government intervention is a sign of chaos for them. In addition, there are various advantages of the currency in the developed countries but what will be the consequences in the under developed countries. The experiment may be too expensive for such economies.

Bitcoin is using as currency all over the world with the passage of time it is spreading much more, although there are many countries where the Bitcoin is banned due to some reasons. Banks in Germany are now using the Bitcoin for they are to pay their loans with more benefited way that is why they are using Bitcoin as payment of loans. Due to its friction-less transaction facility with low cost make it our best choice.

Price is not a matter. It is only for traders. They compare bitcoin with other currencies. When bitcoin become globally usable, people will not compare it dollar of any other currency. I think its depending on merchant. Some merchant accept bitcoin and many merchant still afraid accepting bitcoin because government regulation. But in near future, i am believe more merchant accepting bitcoin as currency
