The price should be stable. The continuous instability of the price of bitcoin is affecting the mass adoption. Because even fiats don't depreciate in such manner. It is disheartening to purchase bitcoin at $15000 and see it fall to $7000 without it indicating any sign of bouncing back.

I don't think the bitcoin will be an investment for all the time because the profits made from the bitcoin investments are from the price volatility so if the price of the bitcoin will become stable then it won't be much profitable but it happens only through mass adoption and also we need more stores which can also accept the crypto currencies then only we can convince the people to spend their cryptos.

It is a general problem, which will be solved by the time IMO. One problem is, that stores do not accept Bitcoin, if so few people would pay with it, but as there are so few stores which accept Bitcoin, adoption of people is also slowlier.

In my opinion, it is very hard to eradicate fiat over bitcoin as currency because of the unstable market. Most people used bitcoin as an asset to gain profit from it.

There are too many ways that we can do to encourage other people to use cryptocurrencies as a paying process for their every transactions they want to have in the virtual life and social lives. But we must considered that there are factors why people are being hesitate theirselves to do so, like; influence of their government, news about cryptocurrencies and the lacking of funds to invest on it.

One reason why people do not accept cryptocurrencies as a form of payment is because they find them to be too complicated, explaining a fiat currency or a currency backed by gold is very easy but it can be very difficult to explain how something like bitcoin works and people are afraid that if they make a mistake they could lose their money, and in a way they are right since we have seen many examples like that in the forum.

This is going to be a very slow process, what we are seeing is something very similar to what it should have happened at the beginning when people decided that they were going to use a currency to make trade easier, at first people will not really be convinced that it was a good idea but eventually with time they will understand that this is the best way to trade value among people, so I suppose adoption is going to take a few decades at least.

But we could still give information about bitcoin and what is bitcoin benefits to them. I am sure that if they know and learn about bitcoin, they will join by themselves and we can teach them to use bitcoin as the investment only. Bitcoin is not only for the currency but we can use the other side of bitcoin which is the investment, and I think people will think about to invest in bitcoin. But don't forget to tells them about the bitcoin volatility so they know that in bitcoin investment, there is a risk that they should understand.

Demand breeds supply, so obviously there will be more both online and offline stores accepting cryptos if the developers see that it is demanded by the customers.
The main problem is the volatility of bitcoin, so many people would prefer keeping their btc in their wallets as an investment that could cost several times more.
If bitcoin becomes a more stable, buyers would not be afraid of spending it on goods and services.

I am not sure if BTC is still in line to be a 'currency' as it was first envisioned by Satoshi! It certainly is acting as a store of wealth and the economic motivations for reducing fees would actually not help the velocity of BTC. The less it moves the more is behaves like a store of value. Plus being non-inflationary it isn't well suited to global use as a currency. More and more it is becoming a hedge asset for global risk not a currency.

I agree it must be as simple as Venmo or Paypal to use. That does remove some of the 'decentralized' components for the masses. The question is do the masses really care?

I do think stability will only come from a cryptocurrency that has an open and democratic governance of its monetary policy. This is not available in any network now, save Decred which is trying to do this. However, they are capped in circulation so that really will only lead to store of value rather than a widely dispersed currency.

Actually, we cannot certainly change how people perceive and see Bitcoin just because we think there is really an appropriate way on how we can use this. Since Bitcoin have lots of possible ways on how we can use this depending on the type of user, we cannot control how people use this because of the fact that it is their own will and not ours. Also, the reason why there are only few stores who establish of using Bitcoin as a payment is because only few people wanted to treat Bitcoin as that. What really matters is that people are using it right? Instead of ignoring it because they do not want to use this because of their own reasonings.

When people realized that having Bitcoin is simple and secure, they might possibly decide to join in. The better way to make understand it is to give them or let them have a Crypto wallet where it shows the basic feature of Crypto which are open source code, peer to peer transfer, decentralization and user friendly feature. I use Hodler wallet when presenting it to.someone, since it is the only open source multi wallet available and it has easy to handle feature.
