it will be very difficult if every media broadcasts almost negative news for crypto, so I don't think we can avoid it.

We can't really stop the spreading of negative publicity because first of all we can't control every individual's mind. The hater of cryptocurrency particularly the bitcoin will not believe anyone's statement that is positive because they have this mindset that bitcoin will not do any good for you. Also, It is only a scam.

I dont think re branding will do more harm than good at this moment. Also I feel that what media is doing is good on many terms. People who are techy and try to understand these things will get into crypto by hearing these news. I agree that some people will feel that it is negative but if they research on their own then they will understand.

I don't even think there should be a conscious effort from some quarters to try or attempt to stop negative publicity about bitcoin because they rather give bitcoin the opportunity to outdo the negativism and flourish as has been the case on several occasions. If they couldn't cripple it in its early stages I don't think they can now because the entire world is well aware of it and it's capabilities.

To stop negative publicity of bitcoin can be reached through building up education foundations of bitcoin itself in the society. There are no other ways but this. This cannot be stopped. Bitcoin is a whole new concept for the majority of the world's population. Meaning, someone will always emerge and spread negativities about Bitcoin. Why? Because the don't fully comprehend the whole picture of crypto. This may be due to lack of knowledge or just simply laziness of trying to check on things. In several months ago, many negatives news and fake news about bitcoin and thats why many peoples panic and selling their bitcoin at cheap price. If we make investment in bitcoin, we should not panic with fake news and i am think its hard to reducing negatives news, its depending on our self.

I still dont understand why people talk about negative news when there are positive news about bitcoin as well. We tend to take news in a different manner because as humans we are biased towards good and bad. We waive off the good news within minutes like "oh this is a good thing for crypto - next? But when we see some bad news we start to panic and we start spreading it more to people like "Did you hear this/that, I heard that this is that and all"

Its the classic way how rumors spread and why the negative news spreads easily while the positive news gets buried in the depths. The OP of this thread is an idiot; albeit not the first one who think rebranding solves everything.
