By checking white paper and team members profiles, you can make sure that the project is not a SCAM, at least at some degree. But it is not enough to give you any guaranty on getting profit.
Unfortunately, but it is more important whether the team is able to organize good marketing and arranges a listing on good exchanges, pay for bots on exchanges to disperse prices, etc.
You can predict such things by analyzing funds that also invest in this project or partnership with companies - market-makers

Now I am focusing to invest in ICOs. As a regular bounty hunter, I can realize which ICO is good and which is bad. Because I follow the most trustful ICO rating website Icobench, I have enough time to read project's whitepaper and look after at their community activity. But recently I realized Icobench's rating is not everything! I want to mention some ICOs name that had an impressive positive rating! But they couldn't raise even 1 Million USD! A project like FTEC, Enkidu can be a good example. What is the reason here?

When you invest in ICOs, what thing you take seriously?
When I invested in the ICO project in a bear market, most of them lost money. I also invested in the FTEC project.

Investing to an ICO is no longer looks profitable for me. If they will be unable to reach their softcap, they will no longer continue the project or worst is that you will be scammed. Another bad news is that if they decided to refund the investor during bear market, the value of your cryptocurrency will go down where you were unable to avoid. Those reviews from ICO websites should never be trusted anyway and we must always do our own research instead of relying to those paid ratings.

In my opinion, icorating and any other ico site can be trusted but it is not enough for research of our investment. Generally, before investing in any ico projects, I check whitepaper, projects team, community activities, supply and demand. I think the high rating is not a guarantee that ico is promising.

the site rating does not provide an objective appraisal, so it goes a good way of selecting the ICO. most of the sites of the sort only a judgment that is contrived. analysis of its own view of the background and goals of the team concept will be able to determine the feasibility of the ICO.

As of now, there are so much fraud ICO's. I think in participating into ICO's you should first check their project plans, whitepaper, and website. If you want to assure a successful ICO, check if their project reached ita soft cap so that it would be great to invest on their ICO.

Thing i look into most is team, solid team is required, no fake member, must have above 10 full time team members. Second thing is whitepaper, then their research report, activities, and support community.

For this year I chose to invest in something else, than I know ICO rating sites are paid to promote ICO, so ICO rating sites play less role in seeing ICO's success, from my experience, I am more inclined to see partners who are cooperated by the ICO, you know someone who is truly an expert and can attract investors to invest, then regarding the concepts and tokens in the WP is number 2 for me.

Yes I very much agree with the existence of a great team that can make the performance of the development project will run good. other than that I think look at the concept and realization of the project are probably realized or only as an idea.

maybe what I will see when I want to invest in IO usually I will look like a team, a whitepaper and I see the linkedin they have, because I want to make sure that person is responsible and does not run away from carrying ICO funds.

I also invest on ICO before that's was last year, I was only try once and received a good result of it, for me ICO must have a working and visible project to be sure its legal and really exist, no fake location and dummy team and the bounty project also has an escrow service.

There are a lot of factors that you need to check before starting invest in any project. Whitepaper is a must, because there is no more document that is more important. MVP is also a must for any serious project. I would also check the social media communities.

For me, I usually double checked the developer team and their capabilities to handle a crypto project. I will also explore deep by visiting their official websites to know more about the goals and concepts of the platform. And last thing what I will do is by checking if how much funds that they have raised during the token sales.

Does anyone else believe in ICO rating website? I read one article from the former moderator of the similar website. Maybe i will surprise you, but money do all. No matter what is the project. You can buy any review. So, I advise you don't trust any ratings.

At that time, when the bearish market happens, I don't care about ICO because the investment is always lost. As the stat from the expert showed that in November, almost ICO projects exchange from their Token to ETH and sell ETH that makes the price has sharply increased. It proves that the ICO project is not potential and not suitable to invest.

many are to be seen in the ICO investment. the whole team into a background thing that should be noted. This will be a factor whether ICO worthy and not to follow and whether it can run well and not. the purpose of the product and the ICO should be clear and have a good concept so that investors can be quite interested in its potential.

When I want to invest in an ICO, I will usually see the concept of the project they are developing and certainly I will see the influence of the project on the people, if it is very useful then I will invest in their ICO.

So far. I build cash on investment activities in comes that are at ICO. And yet I still use and trust variety of existing ICO comes to speculate. and i am positive within the future i will be able to get a decent profit within the future which through ICO. but it does not guarantee that we've a bent to chose a winning project. the subsequent tips are very useful for people that are new the crypto market. i feel the foremost necessary consider choosing a project is its degree of promotion. a good project will forever have a good promotion

I think the team and technology behind are paramount. At www.elrond.com when we speak with investors we want them to fully understand the technology - when you trust that, together with the team that delivers - I think you have enough reasons to consider. Also always check if they have some opensource.  But a personal discussion is the best and regardless of market sentiment good technology will always succeed. Good luck Smiley
