The people's Bank of China and the financial inspection of Shanghai began on Wednesday, January 11, checking the activities of the cryptocurrency exchange BTCC which led to a drop in the rate of bitcoin.

I personally never bought Bitcoin with Fiat. but for Exchange transactions, I see Bittrex, poloniex, coss.io, Hitbtc etc. are supporting the purchase of bitcoin with fiat via credit cards. but I often buy Bitcoin for my friends on local exchanges. because in my country is a pretty good bitcoin exchange.

In Indonesia, we buy bitcoin in the bitcoin VIP forum, there is also a trusted digital currency market, many token tokens are popular there. And the security is also very guaranteed, rarely in the forum where people lose their tokens, because their privacy is very well maintained ...

I personally use Coinbase,
which is the biggest and most respected Bitcoin platform in the United States.
It offers both an exchange and wallet in one,
making it one of the easiest places to start with Bitcoin.

I buy my bitcoin from international exchanges. There are a lot of exchanges all over the world and the requirements for operating with them may vary based on the exchanges. We have few local exchanges in my country but I have never once patronize them.

Bitcoin is the number one crypto currency, so you can buy in exchangers that you think they are trustworthy and easy to use. Before that you have to be knowing more well and good about the project.

We all know of the importance of having cryptocurrency, particularly Bitcoin, however it is not always clear where they come from. Here in America, my friends and I use Coinbase to purchase and sell Bitcoins, Litecoins, Ethereum, etc. We can also use Coinbase as a wallet and it accepts bank transfers as well.

I have a few friends that use LocalBitcoins to meet up with locals in Los Angeles. I think this is inefficient since it can be time-consuming, however, there are some good deals and you can trust most of the sellers. I've also heard good things about platforms such as Kraken and Changelly.

In an effort to help the community, where do you personally go to purchase Bitcoins?
In my country, Localbitcoin is still the most effective platform that we can use to buy and sell bitcoin. Coinbase is not operating in my country. Others optional platforms are apart from Localbitcoin are; Luno and Remitano.
Coinbase still has more work to do to extent it operation to many countries. This is their major limitation. If they can achieve this, they will come to be one of the platforms to buy and sell the major coins.

So far until now I only buying bitcoins (with my real funds/fiat) only on my local market exchanger called Indodax, it's required to do the KYC to be available for Deposit, Withdraw and Trade in exchange (as far as i know). It's very user friendly and it has a Live Chat Support, in case if we have some inquiries and problem about something regarding the exchange.

I'm located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Southeast Asia is pretty illiquid when it comes to depositing fiat to buy crypto or vice versa. So far only peer-to-peer platforms works. I was previously using Luno (before they got shut down here), and now I'm using Remitano. Pretty easy to use, no issues so far. Anyone else here uses Remitano? Curious to hear about your experience trading there so far!

There are many sites that offer to buy bitcoin. But many of them are not trustworthy (account blocked for no reason, bank transfer that never comes, etc..)  Roll Eyes

For large amounts what are the most secure sites to buy bitcoins ?
Where would you buy $100,000 of bitcoin in total confidence?  Grin
