Coin-swap stole my 50 millions of FAIL. Sad

so how did they "steal" it?

They didn't steal it actually. There's a limit on how big of a transaction coin-swap can handle. When I canceled my 90M FAIL order, I didn't receive the fail, the owner fixed it by sending the amount back in 45mil chunks.

Fedoracoin was joke too... look what happened. Yeah, the current price is bad, but at the beginning, I for example was able to mine more than 150 million TIPS per day with only 2.7 MH. How about DOGE? There are plenty of examples. FAILcoin needs a little push to succeed.

Painful Truth

Yeah, and while I was waiting for auto-payout on minep.it to get sorted I was topping up my TIPS by a few more Mil!

Only time will tell on so many 'shitcoins'... It's all a game of chance and hope that devs do some work, name fits, whatever happens, that makes enough folks think that it's worth buying and up they'll go - worthless pieces of shit or not!!!

Hey guys

We've launched a new service called MinePit. It is a client application that allows you to monitor, and remotely control your miners from any web browser, and additionally is a collection of pools that can be mined with or without the software.

We've launched with 9 pools to start with and have chosen FAIL coin as one of those. Feel free to have a look and jump in with the mining at https://www.minep.it.

Our main thread is here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=523986.0

Many thanks,
MinePit Team

Pool down?

Just curious but what are the nationalities of the people who participate in failcoin? I ask because it seems I'm not around when most people are posting. I'm American.

Hey Guys,
It's good to see that Fail coin is still going. I'm a huge fan!

"Try as we may, we FAIL to fail."

Hey, I still can't sync my wallet. I've read through the posts and see several peeps are syncing their wallets by adding nodes to the conf file. I've added the notes to a file called fail.conf in the coins AppData folder, but it still won't sync. Is there a page already on the forum that gives good instruction for getting the wallet to sync?

Thanks in advance ;0

...and guys, don't worry about these guys coming into the forums talking trash about FAIL. I'm sticking with FAIL b/c it's a great idea. As I said in my original post, I'll mine it alone if I have to :O)

And remember, we can use FAIL as a tipping system to tip the best fail pics, videos, etc...This might require a new website, and forum to support the idea. I'm available to help with the new website and forum idea; however, we really need to discuss whether the original owner of failcoin is ok with us picking up the ball and running with it. If the original devs don't want us to move forward, we really should respect their wishes.
What do you guys think? You know, we are the new FAIL Coin community. Let's get a plan together for this coin!
