I'm glad you like it. I am doing some tweaks now and I may post tweaked logo in about 1-2 hours. I think it will be little better.

Look at the market.. it has been shrinked twice since FAILCoin launch (little over month ago). Everything is one big, fat and epic FAIL! Grin

Cool logo Spartak_t, image is a total fail! Although, to get people involved, we should have had a contest and offered fail as the reward. We could have gotten some new peeps on board. Maybe a relaunch of the coin? Or at least a "we're not dead" launch :O)

Neverminds17,
Where did you hear about the coin? What brought you to start mining failcoin? How about the rest of you? It's probably about time we started getting others involved. I saw the coin on Coin-swap.net and decided to come check it out, which brought me to the launch site here at bitcointalk.

By the way, it just dawned on me, we don't know a few things about this coin...since the OP didn't mention them at launch...

1. Does it ever "halve"?
2. When is the expected date that all coins are mined?
3. What happens after the coin is completely mined? (Doesn't mining need t occur in order to process transactions?)
4. Was there ever a block explorer created? If not, how easy is it to create one?
5. Is it time we took over this Posting for the failcoin? We need to update the nodes for those who are new to the coin, and the OP doesn't appear to login anymore. (Maybe we can find the originators of the coin and speak with them? How would we go about that, do you think?)
Just some food for thought...

Hey Batesresearch,
Are you still working on a website layout? Do you need webspace?...or any help at all? I've got some webspace at arvixe, if needed. It even has the ability to setup forums, although I've never done so, I'm sure we could figure it out.

I have no problem if someone cane make better logo. I can even offer him reward... let's say 30 million FAILs. Someone mentioned faucet (I think it was Reverb) - I can also offer coins for the faucet.

1. No, it does not halve.
2. Expected date is pretty soon.. diff. is still very low, but I think I will involve about 10 more MH in the network in 1-2 days.
3. IDK
4. IDK
5. Yes, I think it is.

Maybe it will be better if dev shows again and make fork of the coin and to raise the coins to 100 billion for example. Dev, where are you? A community is building and you left us...

Spartak_t,
You did a great job on the logo. We don't need to change it. I just thought a contest would get others involved.

Unfortunately, once all the coins are mined, it doesn't leave much incentive for others to get involved. A fork would be good. Maybe just find a dev to force the coin to halve every so often. That would keep interest in mining. Does anyone know the original dev?
Maybe we can try to PM the OP "FailCoinFAIL "? We would need the original source code to implement halving to keep the coin alive...I think. Or extend the total number of coins, as you said, Spartak_t.

All,
I sent the OP (Dev) a PM. Maybe he'll reply...who knows.
Let's see if we can get reverb to create the faucet. Faucets are tricky. For those who are unscrupulous, it's an easy way to "mine" fail :O) But I'm up for giving it a shot.

P.S. The only pool for FAIL that is working now (as far as I know) is https://www.minep.it/pools/21/
