This year we have witnessed many scams projects that we have invest in more than others years.  I think scamming activities is high this year more than others years and I will like to find out the way out of this. Are we going to find solutions for this by developing more security projects? I think we can kick scammers from icos market and if we can not do this governments should come in and help this market.

yes that is true
we really need regulation to be a legal umbrella for investors who invest in ico, this is very important so that the ability is not polluted because of the scam, and the managers must be more selective in rejecting the project that is suspected of being a scam.

The problem of scam projects will not be eradicated because we live in the world of internet but what can one do is be vigilant at all times. Always assume something is dogie unless proven otherwise.

Sadly, no government can punish these fraudsters because the cryptocurrency market is a global market and is not subject to the laws of any single country!
Fraud is a crime, and therefore states can unite in the fight against this global evil. For this there is Interpol, orders in the framework of international agreements, and work through diplomatic channels, if there are no such agreements. However, it would be better if states set up an ICO regulatory authority and checked the ICO teams for possible fraud.

There is nothing you could do with this, this is like any other business you could invest and earn and you could invest and go bankrupt if your idea of a business is bad or you have chosen bad team for business to be a success! You just should watch out and read carefully, do research on the team, how many years they have an experience and where did they study and the project you had invested in should bring you a success if you believe in it!

Compared to the past there are less scams. Currently the best security depends on the individual person. Don't put yourself in any project before you've taken as much informations as possible.

in my opinion all kinds of fraud will always be in the world of cryptocurrency and we cannot compare every year we have to do now is overcome all the fraudsters.

There will always be scams, frauds, fakes anywhere whether online, offline or those in between and there will always be people that can be victimized by scammers as they can really be creative in things they are doing. There are many who are making a good living out of fooling others and these people are the bad apples in the crates producing the bad reputation and wrong impression especially on a starting industry like blockchain and cryptocurrency. What happened is that scammers are now transferring to cryptocurrency because they are seeing the best potential to fool people and the cost and time needed is not that high compared in the past. The market for scammers is now so big thanks to cryptocurrency especially with the ICOs. I had been one of the many victims of scams before and here in cryptocurrency my MEW wallet was hacked with the help of the Slack weakness. Sad that we victims could not do anything except learning the lessons.

When we find projects like that, it might be better for us to advise them for the best because with that we can be a hero to the victims of the scammer.
And we also have to be careful about this because SCAMMER is always everywhere.

The only thing you can do is be careful with what you do in crypto so as to avoid being scammed by them, the next year will be more than this like things always advance and grow yearly so you should be the careful one here. The only solution is crypto to have an organization and control all doing in it at 50% stake by then I guess a little change.

I think in 2018, too many scam ICOs. I think many scam project because some developers want to steal peoples crypto. They take advantages on crypto market rising at end 2017.

Scam is indeed a problem for members and investors, I myself have experienced a scam project. What must be done seems to be that security is tightened by evaluating existing rules. Market prices fall like this and scam is rampant Sad

I suggest, aside from spreading awareness about these sacm projects. We should also take into consideration of exposing who's this people are, from the names of their Team, ICO Manager, Country of origins and even the IP they use to put their dubious site. Let's promote and blog this fraudsters and eliminate them on the crypto space forever.

We should be more careful with ICOs. It is a must nowadays to read the whitepaper of any project. Moreover, you must check the team members and the development level. I also check communities and ranking websites.

This year scammers doubled from last year. Who will not hate it? They are enjoying this kind of thing. In order to avoid scams, I less participate in bounties who pays alts, I just participate campaigns that pays bitcoin weekly. Well whatever ways occur on how to prevent scammers, I will actively participate.

Yes mate totally agree with you there are so many scam projects in this year. But according to my knowledge there is no any system to identify those. so we need a legal system to introduce the projects.

We have really seen many scam or fraud projects within this year and many of our cryto enthusiast and fellow bounty hunters had fallen victims of this kind of scam ICO projects so before you participate investigate first if there's any members of the development team who are involved in a scam ICO so you can opt out from the project as early as you can.
