Why not? he helped a lot of us here to become financially free and expect something in the future. I little help wouldn't hurt our bitcoin holding if we're going to send him a bit of it only if he verifies himself. It's one of the best situation that he speaks that way, at least we have now an idea that he's still alive and kicking. And that's possible that one day he'll expose himself/herself/themselves on who they really are. A chunk to my life saving is fine just for him.

Let's create a fictitious scenario where Satoshi sends a message in a way that can be validated/verified < PGP key > and he notify all of us that he is bankrupt and has no access to his coins.
If this is verified, would you send bitcoins to Satoshi, like people did with Andreas Antonopoulos? hell no, i'm a greedy bastard. i'm a hoarder and it takes a lot to pry bitcoins from my wallet. i didn't send nothing to andreas either. maybe if i were rich...... plus, i'd be pretty damn skeptical. if he could sign messages from very early miner addresses, he has access to coins. we could easily be defrauded by other methods of authenticating him like old email access or PGP key. these can be compromised.

Wow, Mr Scrooge. You are luckily in the minority around here, because Satoshi was the one that started this and most of the people can thank him or her for the wealth that they accumulated in Bitcoin. Logically a talented person like Satoshi would never have to beg for handouts, because Satoshi has a wealth of programming knowledge to provide for the basic needs, but he might not want to use those skills, because someone might identify him though that code.

It is very good if we send Bitcoin back to Satoshi especially Satoshi has bankruptcy without him. Bitcoin certainly doesn't exist at the moment, but I have to be honest until now I don't have bitcoin so I can't send bitcoin to Satoshi once again. I apologize.

I won't ever do such thing.Satoshi if still alive and active and has all the coins in his presupposed wallet , why should a poor me send him my penny just because he claim to be backrupt. I will only do if he can show himself with the whole world and not just a signed message.

If this happens, I will accept donations of some bitcoins for satoshi because he himself created the most valuable cryptographic coin in the digital age. And it sure does not happen because it's just a hypothesis.

If this is verified, would you send bitcoins to Satoshi, like people did with Andreas Antonopoulos?
We have seen people sending tips to Satoshi's known Bitcoin addresses and to date, bitcoin’s maiden address has received 16.7 BTC in tips, worth around $107 600. <This has never been claimed>
Will you send bitcoins and if you do, why?
If you will not send bitcoins. Why?
If I were in this situation, I'd love for someone to help me out whether or not I am BTC's creator. And so if I am capable of helping out, why not? Satoshi has helped thousands of people through his work. So paying it forward, even to the creator himself wouldn't be bad at all. A sign of gratitude for someone who has contributed greatly in making many lives better.

Maybe I will send him if I have much bitcoin, but I don't think that he needs this as we know that he has a half of bitcoin amount in his wallet. But if it is necessary, then I will send some amount bitcoin to him as a thank you to him for invented and introduce bitcoin to me. I thank you to Satoshi, and because of him, now we can have a new source of income which we can use to make more money on the internet.

Big thanks to him because he created bitcoin we become beneficial from it. He has lot of bitcoin and would help others. Maybe if he still lives, he would like to help those who are in need than giving back to him. I do not have much bitcoin but I want to help others to do their own earning.

Looking at the outcome of this so far, I think Satoshi might end up being a very rich person or group, if he ever reveals himself. My theory has always been that Satoshi created Bitcoin and he tested the mining, without backing up all those private keys for his experimental wallets. <those coins was basically worthless at the time> So the millions of coins that he has been linked to, might never be accessible to him and he might need some money for his next project. So Satoshi, if you are out there, just give us a sign and the community will pitch in together to help you, with whatever you need.

Sure. I would send Bitcoins to Satoshi, since he's the one who created Bitcoin and Blockchain technology after all. This is because I want to support him in his endeavors, since it would've taken him a lot of work and effort to help make Bitcoin a reality in the first place. There's a reason why he mined the initial set of Bitcoins in the beginning, which could be to support his work after a long time. Without him or his invention, the world wouldn't have grasped the freedom of decentralized peer-to-peer money. Which is why, I would support him in every way possible, if he manages to provide proof of his keys for the first Bitcoin transactions ever made on the Blockchain. If people have already donated some coins to Andreas Antonopoulos, then why shouldn't they do so with Satoshi? After all, if it wasn't by him, Blockchain technology wouldn’t have become the giant it is right now. All in all, I won't hesitate to send Bitcoins to Satoshi within a designed public address. And I'm sure that many people would do the same, since he's admired by many cryptocurrency enthusiasts around the world.

I will donate for sure. I know I don't have to, but without Bitcoin I would probably remain a total nobody average joe with zero vision and future perspective.
Bitcoin aside from its increase in value throughout the last years made me become interested in economics, made me realize how much of a faul game governments are playing with their citizens, and how much of a pain in the ass financial institutions are.
If you don't know better than what you have in front of you, you will eventually deal with it because there is no other option. Satoshi gave us the option to do things differently, and I grabbed it with both arms. I entered this space in 2013 and since that time there hasn't been one single day Bitcoin wasn't part of it. I wish I appreciated Bitcoin sooner though, because the true appreciation and understanding of Bitcoin's power started in 2015 for me.

You already know that it is a scam if ever satoshi will ask bitcoin from us. He never touched his bitcoin before, so I think he is doing well. And there is no way we can verify if he really is the real satoshi.
How is it a scam? people are not expecting something in return after sending BTC to his address. It should be considered as a donation tbh. There are several ways to verify anyone as long as he/she is willing to prove it. One of the most known here in the forum is to sign a BTC address. Another example is using PGP. Will you send bitcoins and if you do, why?
I will send some since there's no minimum and Bitcoin helped me in so many ways.
