Thanks  for the article above! I still cant believe there are fake eggs production in China. It feels as if the whole world is about to collapse Shocked
It’s an urban legend. There is not economic motive nor practical method to produce fake eggs. To expand a bit more, other similar stories such as ‘Fake Chinese bun’ and ‘Fake yogurt’ also widely spread in around 2008–2014, a period that Chinese’s concerns on food safety peaked. However, NONE of them were true. They were ALL sensational stories produced by media to catch readers’ eyes.

In fact, eggs are so cheap in China that there is no profit to produce fake eggs.

Why there is no complete solution today while some companies have attempted to create blockchain solutions for modern logistical problems?

Current options revolve around expensive RFID chips or an overt reliance on consumer input. EndChain focuses on the entire logistics chain: from manufacturer to businesses to customer to reseller.

Who are your advisers? What do your advisers bring to the table? Are there any earlier backers of your plan? What companies are you partnered with or seeking to partner with?

Our advisors come from logistics, finance and tech backgrounds, most from large companies. All of them can be seen at endchain.io

We did not conduct a private round nor reach out to institutional investors. As of now, we are confident in the community to help endchain become a reality.

We have already partnered with Ming Kee Factory and will have more announcements regarding partners shortly

Blockchain first grew in popularity as a technologically advanced method of transferring value. What else problem it could solve for the logistics and transportation?
That is true, but its purpose goes far beyond a means of transferring value.

Blockchain allows for immutable and transpartent transactions, perfect for the logistics industry

Most of our team has lived in China at some point in time. Food security is a big issue. This is where EndChain steps in to help.

To say that there is no fake food products in Asia is simply not true and not all stories are "sensational stories".

I agree with the article that at the present moment consumers dont trust that companies and factories comply with regulations and also dont trust that nothing suspicious is going on with our food. There's no any guarantee at all now. So it would be great if EndChain will manage to solve such problems.

Of course, its true. From the one hand we have lower prices, from the other fake food. They are two sides of the same coin.

How EndChain could contribute to that companies and factories comply with regulations?

Why there is no complete solution today while some companies have attempted to create blockchain solutions for modern logistical problems?

Due to the costs involved with current systems, the idea of most companies was to first enter the luxury market and later figure a way to reduce costs

With EndChain, we started with how to make blockchain the cheap and accessible to all

With EndChain, consumers would be able to contact the correct governmental authority to intervene, use AI to determine unusually high levels of complaints. Read the article above to investigate.

The main problem is the data is only as reliable as the person providing the data so I guess EndChain technology based on blockchain will be a solution.

Services that help companies mitigate the reputational risk that food-fraud poses is a big growth area. It’s a great business opportunity. It’s going to be important not just as a China play, but as a global play, because Chinese food companies are becoming part of the whole global supply chain.

Definitely, this is not a Chinese issue — it’s a global issue.
