Services that help companies mitigate the reputational risk that food-fraud poses is a big growth area. It’s a great business opportunity. It’s going to be important not just as a China play, but as a global play, because Chinese food companies are becoming part of the whole global supply chain.
Definitely, this is not a Chinese issue — it’s a global issue.
Some of the biggest food companies there are backing blockchain technology that grew out of the anarchic world of crypto-currencies.

How can the qr code still be read with a barcode in the middle?
EndChain QR/barcode combination has a barcode in the middle of the QR code. Yet, the QR code is still readable due to the QR code’s nature of having the same data in different locations in the code.

Does this work with any barcode?

Alibaba, too, sees the potential for the eight-year-old technology to provide greater product integrity across its platforms

But is there any harm in nabbing a pair of "Louboutins" from a market, or a "Chanel" handbag from a chap selling them on a foreign beach? Huh

To the average punter it might sound a bit far-fetched but their cash goes straight to a drugs cartel or gun-runners.

Buying such items clearly poses a health risk. The same can be said for toys which aren't up to safety standards, and sunglasses which don't have the recommended UV protection.

But the vast majority of consumers know exactly what they're getting. The real issue is when people think they're getting the real thing and they're not. Those people need to be protected.

Every day, there are $140 billion tied up in disputes for payments in the transportation industry. Processing and administration costs have risen to as high as 20% of transportation’s overall costs, due to over-reliance on paper transactions. EndChain is all in one solution.

Let me first emphasize that this is no small task. EndChain is working across an incredibly fragmented landscape where very few standards apply. And yet to implement blockchain in any meaningful manner requires a very high degree of standardization across all parties in these transportation processes. So when you’re developing commercial standards for whatever application we’d like to see, progress will be slow.

Will this patent pending on the website only be made available and accepted upon completion of the sale of tokens? Pre-registration need KYC?

Patent is currently pending government approval. We will finish the patent even if the tokensale does not reach the soft cap.

Registration does not need kyc

So, since it will get the patent even if it does not reach the soft cap, will the project be developed even if it does not reach that goal (soft cap)?
