Contact info. Offical website: www.baikalminer.comofficial email : baikal@baikalminer.com------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ BK-G28 will need total 14 PCI-E plugs and it is recommended that all 14 connectors connected, but if are not able to get enough plug, make it at least 9 connectors plugged. see below: There is no PCI-E cable included in the box, kindly note this. "2 hash boards, with fan cable attached, plug two connectors, other 5 hash boards can plug just one connector“

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

This is obviously using the same chips as the BK-X and this unit does Groestl so I think we have the proof that Baikal has been able to mine Groestl with the BK-X. So when do we get the firmware for that?

It has a better efficiency than a X10. Factor 2.8 more hashrate and about 20% less electricity. I would guess its just power optimized X10 chips. Maybe a X10 could also be optimized like this. I dont think they developed new chips. Or they just binned the chips and sorted the best out for the new miner. I dont think the specific miner kills the X10. The hashrate increase will just decrease the profits in general. But I doubt a lot of there will be bought. We'll see.

Think baikalminer need to come up with a new and innovative miner instead of doing the "same" old. This miner in my opinion, is already "old". Not very profitable.

The efficiency isn't a huge improvement over the X10:
X10 @ 630W for X11 algo or 63W/GH G28 @ 1300W for X11 algo or 46W/GH
The other algos seems to have a similar efficiency increase. Not insignificant, but not a game changer either. To give an idea what's possible efficiency wise for X11:
Spondoolies SPx36 @ 4400W for 540GH is 8.1 W/GH Innosilicon A5+ @ 1500W for 65GH is 23W/GH
The one advantage here is there are multiple algorithms available, so Bitmain can't nuke the algo and make the miner worthless.

https://whattomine.com/asicCurrent profitability is $9/day on DGB-Qubit Those numbers fluctuate quite a bit, so look at the top 5, which are all $7-9/day after electric.

Seems they took 2 Units and sell it as bundle. Also a bit clock improvement from the X10 chips, they are probably capable of much more.
If you switch them off they will run for a few minutes 15-30% faster. That could be normal but is locked inside the code.
So I think we do have here ‚OC‘ giant X10 bundled as 2 units.

Dear Baikal
Perhaps you should update your webpage before you show a picture of a new product and a link to your website where it cannot be found.

But network hashrate is only 3.76 Th/s, its 150 new Baikal. Hashrate goes quickly UP and difficulty too.
