I think that in 2019 there will be no popular coins. I think next year we will have a flat or a small fall. IMHO

I would rather not recommend, but refute, as many believe that 2019 will be the year of Ethereum. Why? Ethereum in 2018 only fell and also grew, but only when the entire cryptocurrency market grew. Ethereum also has a lot of competitors now and if it does not start growing until the end of this year, I think that the confidence in Ethereum will be further undermined and the developers will start using other platforms.

I chose Ethereum. Today i heared that Ethereum team announced Metamask mobile APP and i think that this news can push up the price of Ethereum so we will see at least 0.1 BTC per 1 Eth. Even more: ethereum is a crypto silver and mother of ICO's, so, this coin will show for us own power again.

This year is almost over so I guess it is only normal that we talk about cryptocurrncies in the next year, there is a lot that we can all do to make sure that we have a good number of cryptocurrencies in the market and have them all at a good value, we all need to start using the coins for what they were meant for so that we can actually start hoping for mass adoption

I would call one coin - this is etherium. firstly, the very low price for it is now and secondly, I am sure that the bulls will return to the market and mass migration to Ico will begin again and I am sure that the ethereum will earn incredibly big money because of its good capitalization

I voted for Ripple and most likely it will overcome Ethereum on next year because its application are being accepted widely and more and more popular and it is considered as a good coin for liquidity

Among the promising coins for 2019, I think bitcoin will still leading the cryptocurrency market even it is mostly bearish in this year. It will followed by ethereum and ripple but if the ethereum slow down on its growth next year, the ripple will overtake it again. Bitcoincash and eos are also potential coins for 2019.

I agree that ETH is strong reputed altcoin in cryptocurrency as there is a separate users and lovers of this altcoin most of them believe in their CEO and few in its standard. The current market situation has made the popularity bit low, however it will not impact the coin if it raises up automatically it will retain its position.
