As we witnessed a bearish year which lasted longer than the prediction and some people was it was the bad year for crypto but i feel it was a the year of correction as the value of crypto were overachieved at the end of 2017. Hence we are having a correction period to what the real value should had been? Kindly share your opinion.
it is very difficult to predict I think that the risk of investing in crypto currencies and correction is important as a comparison in the future with crypto currencies |

2018 was the year of correction. All the bad coins vanished and the btc is strong considering that is still almost half of the value in the bull run. Yes, 2018 is the year for correction because we have seen a huge downfall in the market due to the huge fluctuation of Bitcoin and ETH. There are many good potential coins lost their value in the market and this makes people lose their hopes in the market for the recovery of Bitcoin price. |

I feel that 2019 gave us all hope and it is back around 5000 USD. I am hoping this year will be the year of increase. However, I am waiting for that dreaded Mt Gox correction in the middle of 2019 again darnit. I am hoping this time the Japanese guy will use OTC.

In that year there were many things like big fraud in ICO and also a correction in the cryptocurrency market that was very deep so that indeed made the cryptocurrency holders suffered a lot of losses in that year
we all can see it, because the crypto state in 2018 is quite worrying. sometimes there are also people who think that crypto will not grow back, because the conditions are quite decreased so much. but for me personally, I still feel comfortable and believe that crypto will grow again. |

we all can see it, because the crypto state in 2018 is quite worrying. sometimes there are also people who think that crypto will not grow back, because the conditions are quite decreased so much. but for me personally, I still feel comfortable and believe that crypto will grow again. In reality 2018 was a much expected year for bitcoin as well altcoins. To the expectation things took place in the opposite way. This expectation was due to the unexpected price increase creating a new hope and the sudden fall creating another hope that it'll recover as most cryptocurrency faced the loss. After a long now the expectation has got fulfilled, and hope this time it won't be the same as 2018. |

All the bad coins vanished and the btc is strong considering that is still almost half of the value in the bull run. it's true that in 2018 there were a lot of corrections in various jobs such as investment and trade because the market was going down which made us now know what we have to do so we don't suffer losses anymore |

Well, you know what? I wouldn't be too sure that this year won't be a big year of fraud. We've already seen in Q1 quite a bit of drama. Quadriga exit scam, and then supposedly that NZ exchange I forgot the name and then Bithumb claiming it wasn't hacked although it clearly was. That's many exit scams potentially to deal with. Oh and then all the FOMO about IEOs, not to mention the first IEO was cancelled because it was... a SCAM! |

The number of scam projects made many investors afraid of being hit by scams and choosing to sell their crypto, this made bitcoin continue to drop and become the worst record in history. |

I think the 2018 is not there that we are expected but unexpectedly 2019 will have a huge difference from the previous year that's why we are trying to hold our investment and make it more profitable then every situation I think the possibilities also there to develop a huge amount in very short period of time. |

That's right and now we've filtered the bad stuff and were left with awesome projects like Brave and BAT. Most low quality projects were filtered though I can still see snake oil in the the top 100. The high quality ones will survive and gain amazing value in the long run. |

but I think 2019 will be most probably the right year for the changes happening because the year of 2017 is probably the best here for the cryptocurrency development so I think this year is also like that if it was more stable than the development is also huge. |

Well, as for year 2018 should not be referred to as the year of correction but the year of bearish trend where almost all the price went down and only started recovery this year 2019. |

Most cryptos overvalued by the end of 2017, so the correction was inevitable. It lasted longer than many people thought and taught some lessons to investors (newbies and experienced) alike. Some people think 2019 would prove to be a game-changer for cryptocurrency. |
