2018 the year of correction?

As we witnessed a bearish year which lasted longer than the prediction and some people was it was the bad year for crypto but i feel it was a the year of correction as the value of crypto were overachieved at the end of 2017. Hence we are having a correction period to what the real value should had been? Kindly share your opinion.

the time for correction I think before 2018 it is also possible to make corrections with more corrections we can better know the graphical flow of crypto currency development and we can make choices that we will invest

2017 we have the all time high for BTC and most of the altcoins.
If you notice, most part of the year 2018 we saw that the price is dropping, and we called that correction.
Now, it seems that correction is already over, or probably BTC and altcoisn was oversold that time, so now we got a bullish for a positive correction maybe.

now its time to all cryptocurrency price back to all time high.atleast market capitalization rise now.we hope this movement was permanent bullish not only bull trap by whales.

2018 was one of the big expected year for bitcoin, but things didn't go as predicted. The market experienced a massive fall in value and the same didn't recover. The growth of cryptocurrency in comparison to 2018 is big, from the starting of the year 2019 bitcoin has been growing in a stabilized way. From a low value of less than $3000 price has come above $5200 now making it a strong recovery.

many hope that, it is unfortunate if only a trap from the whales, of course after that the price will be a severe dump. and many are frustrated again. with healthy development, of course a consistent increase can be achieved

2018 was never the year of the crypto market correction because we saw bitcoin dragging down in value with most altcoins following its lead. However, the latter part of the first quarter of 2019 seems to be the correction point. In the mean time bitcoin is now above $5k and things seems to be looking in the right direction for a further increase in value.

Yea, i think so, It was too distance price between 2017-2016 price. It should slow and steady so that we may happy today with BTC price. Actually when men accustomed with high demand and that time if he not get that, this is very problematic for them. But if anybody grow up slowly he can easily adopt with any bad situation.

In 2017 price was so high and it was more than our expectation but it is only because we really supported and people invested for long term without any problem, but suddenly whales attacked the market and they sold so many coin at once which made the price down, so in 2018 price was low but now again there is a hope that market will recover and price will be high once again.

Both were out of the expectations of almost all of us. 2017 was unnatural and good for those who made real huge profits from it but it was destined to get corrected big time. 2018 was a year of correction but not many of us expected it to be that bad. And the worst came in the 4th quarter where we again were expecting, this time for the price to recover. See where our expectstions are taking us? Lol.

I agree with your assessment, it is indeed a year of correction, it's hard for people who bought on its all-time high, they will have to extend their patient and wait for another all-time high, but I guess nobody here now owns Bitcoin that they bought in its the all-time high, only a true believer in the future of Bitcoin can do that.

We don't know when is the correction when it comes to cryptocurrency as we can the great decline after the ath happened dipping below 3200 and now it is starting to recover from the dip, what I want to say is the volatility of crypto is incomparable to forex because crypto have no definite value it can go ridiculously higher in just a year so. Everything has been balanced last year. There are people who wished and expected for the bull run to happen last year but it has just been corrected. As for me, that kind of year is important and would make things better in the world of crypto. I believe that the prices would go better this year.

Yes now price is rising high and we have good opportunity for us, as price is rising in future it will be rise even more than this, 2018 brought so many changes in price which are good for new investor as they got the chance to buy at low price and now after holding so many people will sell coin making profit, so for me 2018 was golden chance to buy low.

Yes you’re right, and such a thing pisses me off a lot. I know a lot of my friends that does that. They’ve been talking about cryptocurrency since over five years I started it and now they are regretting that they didn’t get in with me when I did because they thought that the price isn’t going to increase. Till today, they are still not ready to invest because they are afraid the price will go down. If you’re not ready to take the risk, then you’re not ready to achieve anything yet.

Even the bull run we had in 2017, it took like a year before it happened. There was a bearish trend starting from 2015 to the year 2016. So, bull run doesn’t happen in every year.  If it’s like that, then this would no longer make any sense. And this is not a place for those that are looking for how to be earning quick money,  nah that’s not going to work out. I like it how it is,  if you can’t have patience, you leave for those that can have patience.

The important thing for success is to take risks, if we don't dare to take the risk of loss then don't even think of getting big profits, crypto looks good because the daily trading volume is so large that I believe to invest more.
