What do you want to see for Bitcoin - A stable or a volatile market?

I think it needs both, for profits and to attract investors it needs a period of volatility to see those ridiculous gains. However retailers won't adopt it unless it is stable

The nature of bitcoin is not design to have a stable price or fixed amount in the market and at that it is best left as an object of speculation and since bitcoin answer to the economic law of demands and supply it market will forever remains volatile. Having a stable price will likely affect the decentralized nature of bitcoin in a way that bitcoin market can be easily influenced.

Definitely stability is what we want to see. If Bitcoin is not stable, no one will ever use Bitcoin even though it is decentralized system.

Shorter term I would like to see a more volatile market, but longer term and removing my own personal interests, a more stable market would be very advantageous. A large issue bitcoin faces with its adoption is the volatility, retailers are not willing to accept it due to the level of risk that it exposes them to. Remove that and bitcoin is far more feasible as a day to day currency

3. They want the market to steadily increase at a moderate rate so that bitcoin adoption can increase and it can be used as intended instead of just as a vehicle for further profits in Fiat.

I guess I am still used to the volatile market of bitcoin. Ever since it stopped there is not much to look forward unto but just wait for people to accept it in a larger scale.

I want the volatility back but if this is what the majority needs then I guess accepting it will not be a choice. Time to change the way of profits.

This a toss of tail, eaxch side will actually justify and for me the crypto market is one venture that seems to be unpredictable before us all and in such situation we find ourself we only dont have to be thinking of prices that falls kn our favour but also lookat the scope of all. Yes, we can't get more profits from a stable market, thus price fluctions is merely to happen. Though high volatility market is to risky as we thought but its gonna be suited for these kind of investment and a big chances to gain more.
As usual, loses is very often but we can manage to minimize it by having a good strategy and do have an effective planning ahead of time.

You ask about volatility but for me it is secondary. I would like to see bitcoin with a growing user base, widely adopted. Used for everyday spending as a cash equivalent. But what I am seeing is a stagnant coin with peaks in transaction fees whenever any serious price move comes along and (as an effect) adoption grows a little.

Growing adoption has proven itself to be a killer for bitcoin, but anybody will agree, that without the adoption there is really no bitcoin, either. And I am not speaking here about hodlers: when people start to use bitcoin for payment or to transact bitcoin en mass, the transaction fees grow and make it impossible to use bitcoin anymore.

This is the real dillema, which is only reflected in price moves and the volatility.

We all know that the volatility issue of Bitcoin is real and anything might happen in the market within a short period of time, it may go skyrocketing or it may jump into a dip but this kind of issue might lessen when the mass adoption of Bitcoin happened in the whole world and not only a few people hodls the large amounts of Bitcoin because we know if a person hodls a huge amount of this Crypto Currency that person definitely has a control on Bitcoin's value because of its decentralized nature. Being a decentralized electronic cash doesn't mean that no one has the power to control its price and this is a false belief by other people. The community of Bitcoin decides what will be the price of Bitcoin especially if a person has a large amount of this Crypto Currency he has the ability to shake the whole Crypto space and the only thing that will stop this kind of manipulation of whales is a global mass adoption of this innovation in our monetary and payment system. This is just based on my own opinion and point of view don't take it too seriously.

I said that I wanted it volatile in some ways because I also do some tradings and the volatility is profitable especially if you're lucky on predicting what's gonna happen next.

I think its better to have volatile market which can bring you good and high income even it is risky but still it is good especially to the solid cryptocurrency. If you choose stable market it is hard to earn simply because there will short period of pump and dump so I will rather choose volatile market than stable market.

Of course I want to see the volatility of the market. But the value of bitcoin at this time is moving very slowly and decreasing in value. . I want to see the volatility of the market like last year, this year the market is stable for a long time and I feel depressed because of waiting so long.

It seems to me that a stable calm market without significant daily price fluctuations will suit the usual holder. For speculative traders, of course, a highly volatile, turbulent market with high liquidity and large price fluctuations would be better. Only in this way they will be able to consistently earn. if bitcoin is used as a bitcoin payment tool must be stable, but if bitcoin for investment and bitcoin trading must remain volatile, I prefer bitcoin which is unstable because it is far more profitable than stable bitcoin.
