What do you want to see for Bitcoin - A stable or a volatile market?

Being a trader who wants a stable market.? Volatility is why lots of people are invested into cryptocurrencies and wants to gain profit with it. Once it gets stable that means it will be used as a medium for transactions like money but with crypto advantages.

No not really, what I am seeing observing the forums here is that majority of users are hodlers. It means they are not interested in volatility, but rather in stable price growth.

Please don't confuse volatility (measure of size of price changes in a given (usually short) interval) with growth, which can happen with low volatility too.

Merriam Webster defines volatility as

volatility noun: a tendency to change quickly and unpredictably

Volatile will keep bitcoin and altcoin alive and developing, I can't imagine when all the value of coins is stable or maybe the same. I'm sure if that happens then the cryptocurrency enthusiasts will disappear.

I want a stable bitcoin market, because I'm not good at trading. if the market is stable, I can calm down because I don't need to think about prices and asset values that are down because of very volatile prices. but sometimes I need a volatile market to get profits quickly.

Like as what a lot of people vote, bitcoin actually wanted to be stable coins because a lot of people want something that can make them get profit, and then they don't need to waste their time when count their profit if want to cash out their bitcoin to fiat, lets make volatile market on altcoin only so traders can make profit from it.

that's a good idea but we don't have the power to implement this in the crypto market, changes in bitcoin prices will continue to occur naturally from demand and supply. from votes many people also want price stability and price fluctuations, total voter is almost same. actually I'm neutral, I like being stable because it will be much safer, I like fluctuations because it's very profitable

If I am going to choose between stable or volatile market , I will choose volatile market because if the maket is stable then we are not able to earn huge profit. It will be risky . I know that most of you chose stable so no one can lose their money but we cant change bitcoin. The price is unstable and its a miracle if it becomes stable.

       It depends upon the preference of the user but for me, I am still undecided which brings me into confusion whether choosing a stable or a volatile market. Having a stable market is many people's dream which is really hard to achieve because even fiat currencies are also facing problems into stability yet it is just occassionally on small percentage compared to crypto. Regarding volatility, people possesses wanting to get engage into this type of market despite of risks because they can also see the opportunity of rising no matter what downfall happens. For me I might choose stable if the value will be staying on a good mark and volatile if I have the chance to take risks for an assurance of granting me a desirable payback or regain for what I have exerted. More opportunities of winning in short.

I have join crypto over 4 years and I have observe crypto based on graph so I can conclude that bitcoin consider as risky investment because of it's volatile value means that it can decrease up to 20% in 1 day !

Personally I'm prefer hold btc for the long term because I can achieve more profit rather than daily trade

I would say i like both. Volatile market will attract more traders and can give bigger profits however,stable market can attract businesses which is good coz a lot of country will surely legalize bitcoin if they see the stability of it. But then, it is still depends on the preferences of people.

I am more inclined to see the stability of bitcoin prices, because the stability of the bitcoin market has an influence on its votability. besides that it will also make the altcoin stable
