for any currency to achieve it's aim, it must be volatile, ie flexible, if bitcoin becomes stable, then there wouldn\t be any reason whatsoever to hold it as a store of value, because it price will neither experience an upward or downward thread and that will mean no return on investment for investors and holders of the coin.

That is never going to happen taking into account the Futures that dived in. Now, this BTC that we are using is more of an asset and cannot really be said a currency under any terms because volatility is the destiny of Bitcoins and that is why it is becoming famous and being adopted everywhere not as a currency, but a tradable asset. I love and prefer volatility over stability because it gives us a chance to earn more on our limited BTC accumulations. But institutions will definitely not want this and they will try their best to show the last big bull run, then dump and then stabilize (in my words, control) BTC for a major long period.

Bitcoins are been regulating with a super speed since the time they were launched being as a volatile currency. Bitcoins are a great source of investment/trading for a majority of peoples and they can only have profits out of trading bitcoins if the price remains volatile. If the Bitcoin markets get stable than there would a decrease in the amount of trading which would also deduct the demand for bitcoins which indeed won't be expected as the prices would start downreaching.
I personally, don't want to see bitcoin markets getting stable. Volatile markets keeps the cryptocurrencies a way different from the centralised currencies having stable markets.

Although what is desirable by everyone is a stable market but of the truth what is available for now is a volatile market, the higher the crowd the more difficult it becomes to manipulate bitcoin price but until we get there when the crowd will decide the market, the wales will always have their way in market price manipulation.

Well, for some investors, Bitcoin being a stable investment will be great. You don't need to worry about your investment and I think it will be more popular than ever. Being popular means it will be also having great price pumps, that will invite more investors to invest on Bitcoin and also to other crypto currencies though we can't do anything about that now.

I think now market volatility is also starting to show higher prices, so I think future market price developments will also grow better.

I want a growing stable market so that it will continue to grow though may be slowly but eventually it will grow and this is what everyone would want that it should keep climbing the stairs rather than keep falling or sudden crash in the market and as a result entire market becomes red.

I've been chosen a volatile market, ain't sure if how long you've said the stable market and continue to grow up without downtrend.
I am very excited to see the former status of this currency. A volatile market is better than sustainable since you can actually develop and improve your analysis when it comes to the value.

I have won a lot of times in a volatile market compared to this so-called sustainable market people consider as coma.  So yes, I'd pick volatile than the sustainable market.

I personally prefer to see the price of bitcoin in stability, because when the state of the bitcoin stable market will give a good effect in all sectors that exist in cryptocurrency.

But stability of bitcoins will make trading a way difficult which will lead in the decreased amount of traders. Even the stock traders are highly appreciated by bitcoins due to the unstable volatile markets which gives a lot of opportunities to make good profits by holding bitcoins untill the price is pumped. It is "us" who manipulate the price for bitcoins by increasing/decreasing the demand and considering the demand and growth for bitcoins i hardly think that bitcoins can ever be a stable market

In my opiion,the price of bitcoin need to get stable to have all the benefits from it or else it will just kept by us a dump and bump coin to make money.

But the volatility of bitcoin prices have a big role in making it so much popular in very less time period but in the wrong way that bitcoin is a quick way to become rich.

There are coins specifically meant for stability like USD and if Bitcoins also have a stable coins then no need to trade it. Volatility of market is good for trading and speculations; hence bitcoins should be volatile for that purpose.

I myself want Bitcoin to remain in its fluctuating nature. when bitcoin is always stable, how people will benefit if volatility is not in the market. perhaps with that volatility distinguishes cryto differently from trading other assets. maybe with a high level of volatility can make people interested in buying and investing with crypto. and they can also trade by utilizing that volatility to earn income.

I think BTC cannot be a stable coin, many people get rich because BTC has high and fast volatility. Decentralized is the main system that controls volatility and supported by trading activities on the market. my simple answer is, I choose BTC volatility.

but on the other side, BTC volatility is the reason for some countries to reject BTC, because BTC will only give benefit for some people who understand crypto graphics.

I prefer the fluctuating price of the bitcoin market because we can profit from fluctuations. if the price of bitcoin is stable we cannot speculate and make a profit. What I want to see from bitcoin is not just a volatile market. I look more at the technology carried by bitcoin. Besides that, innovations launched from time to time also concern me. For example, innovation to bring more bitcoin ATM machines in several countries. I hope that this innovation can compete with potential altcoins so that bitcoin can still maintain its existence. The key, the benefits that can be felt in real terms are the most important things.

What I prefer is some sort of quick cycles of boom and bust, of course with the ceiling value slowly increasing with each cycle. We hope this bearish trend will eventually break, what's agitating people is how long it has been going on.

I've voted for not sure, both have advantages and also disadvantages for BTC.

The volatility can be a good part to spend your BTC faster to avoid speculation but it's also a reason to hold them, when you want to speculate for price increase - long-term oder short term. For daily use case a low volatility would be better and attract more people using BTC.

I will prefers to see a stable bitcoin market whose price fluctuation and volatility is very minimal which will create opportunities for a decent trading and usage as a digital currency I knew people wants a very high volatile market due to their inability to trade but will rather buy and hodl while waiting for the green days ahead but will be disappointed when the price is Red just as we had been experiencing for several months.
