Interesting interview here with an Economist and fellow at MIT Connection Science.

Only this time, the internet infrastructure already exists, unlike the early days of the internet, for a new infrastructure technology like blockchain to piggyback on and gain traction much faster than the internet did. It’s this creative destruction that I am most excited about."
I actually think that AI, AR and VR are just as important and influential in transforming business and social interaction. I consider
this to be the necessary technological infrastructure to support a digital economy.
Why?
"With the invention of the internet and all that it has enabled, we are witnessing a steady transition away of value embedded in physical assets to value created by digital assets."
If digital assets are becoming more valuable than physical, more efficiently accessing and dealing with digital assets will be of the utmost importance.
