No, I think this is not necessary to buy not top alts except ICOs and IEOs, because not top altcoins is probably all shitcoins. So that it is not necessary.

Hey guys, do you buy altcoins which are not top 100 of Coinmarketcap? Isn’t it risky to invest in them? Want to hear your opinion!

Coins that does'nt belong on top 100 alts have more risks on buying compared to top coins that belongs in top 100. I don't recommend buying those coins

but there are some coins that has low marketcap that is being under valued. Buying coins that has low marketcap brings you high risk but you will also be

given a high reward if you have chosen the right coin for you. If you are planning to buy alts that is not on the top 100 because of the current rally of bitcoin today

I would  suggest that wait for the price of bitcoin to go sideways as there would be a high chance that all alts including the top 100 coins will suffer when bitcoin

continues to go up.

In fact I would do so when I was a newbie in the sector of cryptocurrency. I would think that only the coins getting the list of 100 top coins or more would be worth of purchase and they would sure to give returns on investment. But nowadays I am thinking such trend is not correct and do not make my reasoning valid. No matter where a coin is listed, a good project, new or already established, would give you benefit.

Yes I do, and also I explore other ones not among the top 100. Everyday new projects keeps coming up and in the midst of them all are good coins worthy of investing.
In my own opinion, in addition to investing in top 100 also endeavour to check others out.

I think you have very negative thoughts about altcoin not in the top 100, agree that most of them are not too good and perhaps shitcoin as you say but somewhere still have outstanding goals and create a strong impression, so ignoring negative thoughts, finding information about them, sometimes you can get pretty good profits. But remember that those altcoin that are not in the top 100 always have certain risks, limit the amount of money we put on them, safety and profit should go together, not so subjective and greedy

for now I don't buy top 100 of coinmarketcap, but I bought altcoins which in my opinion are long-term projects like global bitex, dexon, duo network I believe that the 3 altcoins will enter the top 50 coinmarketcap

I buy coins that have the ability of giving me a reasonable profit irrespective of their rank in CMC. There are many good coins out there which are not in top 100 now but with constant improvement they will surly get there, as it will be competitive in the future.

the top 100 coin on coinmarketcaps isn't permanent , so basically that rank can change anytime , so what that make you think coin that out of top 100 not worth to invest, it's not about rank but about their own coin. you should check and learn how your coin doing for future if wanna invest

I have not dared if I have not done the study and testing of the token or coin concept. because now when we see more and more projects that are at great risk of failing in cryptocurrency. and must be more careful in choosing

I do have a few coins that aren't in the top 100.  Its fun to go for those high risk high re.ward coins.  Its exciting because you never know if your coin can go 100x or not.

Not always the coin is not included in the top 100 - risky, there are many young worthy projects that are not included in the top 100, but are popular and in demand.

all depends on their market capabilities. if the project is new, then naturally, they don't break into the top 100, and I think if the project is good, they will quickly enter the top 100 markets.

Yes I bought some altcoins not from top 100 cryptocurrencies market. The reason is not a high volume of them and and not high total supply in USD equil. For this reason for such coins and tokens more easy to increase in price when some of wheels enter this market and invest millions of dollars.

If the certain project is a very good one and its not on top 100 when its worth investing in and sooner or later it will enter the top 100 list on cmc ,sometimes its not always about the top 100 or top 20 what one need is taking time to investigate the coin or token to see what its actually all about

I am too speculative to use crypto currencies that are not in the list of crypto currency markets while our existing crypto currencies cannot predict for sure

Of course. The fact that a coin in the top 100 doesn't guarantee that you will earn on it, as well as vice versa. You need to buy any coins if you see a chance to earn on them. The only thing you need to consider is that such coins (if they are not promising) are best bought only for short-term trading.

I think this is a very good earning strategy. Little-known cryptocurrencies very often show very positive dynamics in the cryptocurrency market. The most important thing is to be able to analyze the project and product. You need to buy those coins that have any product and are easily mined miners. These two factors are the price-forming factors.

The risk is everywhere, it has nothing to do with only those beyond top 100 coins, I am sure the idea is to ensure that one do not involve in coins with very low marketcap so as not to totally lose out in case of exit scam or very huge dump. However being on the top 100 should not be the major criteria as a coin can get launched today and within few days it is among the top. A lot of coins that were in this rank region before now are no more. Personally I would look at history, project existence, development and market history aside so many other factors to consider before going in for long-term

As the market position changes from top to down, the risk also increases. More accurate it depends on the project itself. Anyway, it may be possible to try with a small portion of the portfolio.
