I think there is nothing wrong with buying alternative coins below the top 100, if behind these coins are good developers, there is a working product, there is a road map and other aspects that reduce the possibility of turning the project into scam.
When you invest in a project, you may not even guess which place in the rating will hit the project. It can be assumed by hard cap but there is no guarantee that so much money will be invested in the project.

Yep, some of them. I have placed my bets on Fantom, 0chain and Phantasma. I have some other "out of top 100" holdings, but they are way less risky than previously mentioned ones as those are in fact out of top 200, so its a high risk/high reward ordeal.

As long as the coins giving me profits I buy them. Even if the coins are 100+ rank or whatsoever I buy them. But certainly the most probable is having the top 100 alts since those coins will give you bunch of profits. But, it's up to you what you need to do is to conduct multiple of researches about the project or coin you wanted to invest to.

Hey guys, do you buy altcoins which are not top 100 of Coinmarketcap? Isn’t it risky to invest in them? Want to hear your opinion!

Yes, it is very risky to invest in coins ranked 100 and below. Major institutions are investing in the top three to five coins, according to Anthony Pompliano. I personally will ignore coins ranked below 50.

Of course I did buy the top 10 coins in the market eventhough it's risky. But my top priority is eth and Bitcoin in which I put more money than other alts.

Yes I buy some altcoins that is not on the top 100 many coins are profitable even if they are not on the top 100 you are just going to choose which one sometimes not in the top 100 are the most pump coin and give you 135% gain or even 200% gain it was depend on the news and events of a coin.

Some experts say that you only need to buy coins that are in the top 100. But let's not forget that coins that are in the top 2000 can also show a very high profit. The main thing is to choose the right coin.

A major altocoin is  also risky.
A profitable coin is a good coin.
A loss-making coin is a bad coin.
we need to be quick with coin information and news.  Shocked

I think top 100 altcoins are the most profitable and longterm to all but I've noticed that top 100 altcoins is not just the price increase but the more profitable new altcoins are out there because I have read with investors who do not reaching ico and buying exchangers to hold it if a token is a good project I think it's not enough that the price falls even if there are so many dumpers with new altcoins because you're listed on the exchanger will dump the price immediately because of bounty hunters so other bounty is lesser allocation of bounty to bounty to avoid dump price if bounty distribution is finished.

No, I don't do it, I think it's very risky and maybe a scam can happen at any time.
buying a major altcoin is not an option for me but it is an obligation, because there are too many scam projects and also dead projects.

I do not buy altcoins that are not part of the first 15 top cryptocurrencies. Buying not the top cryptocurrency is too risky for me. I have altcoins that are way above the top 100 coins which I get from airdrops and  bounty campaigns.

Buying crypto is always risky, the higher the risk, the higher the chance of profit, I think buying the top 100 coins for now is too risky, because many projects die or scam.

I consider such coins as super risky investments but in the same time they are potentialy the most profitable ones.I am having approximately 30% of my portfolio in  coins not top 200.

Of course we have to be brave enough to take risks, if we are sure of the team and the project then buying a new one or 100 rank is something that will make us successful and rich.

Usually coins that are outside the top 100 are young and promising and sometimes it is very profitable to invest in such coins and get a good profit over time

Market rankings won't prevent me from investing in altcoins even though the altcoin is new or under 100.
if in my opinion the altcoin is feasible for investment and will bring benefits to me then I can buy it.
