Rewards suck, all they do is give coins to non-miners mostly and those non miners don't care what they sell the coin for because they don't have a feel for it's rarity. so it fucks up the coin and miners move on because they have bills to pay and equipment to order to be able to keep up with the increasing no. of miners.

think about it... why not reward miners for being troopers and mining your shitworthlesscoin here... that said i don't want anything free... or better yet, use those rewards to buy good news and influence for the coin... get people to make a fuss about it and get it's value through the roof instead of killing a coin by giving it away to losers that sell it for nothing.

You have a very good point, although my intention was to encourage people to fulfil your own point:

Be that as it may, I want to do what’s best for the coin and you’re point makes for a compelling argument as to how this might be achieved.  In that case why don’t we devise a method by which dedicated miners can prove their dedication.  I’ll then route rewards to them instead.

I’ll give each dedicated miner 25% of there day’s mining up to a value of 250 GOX and until the 5000 GOX has run out.

take following example: someone is buying all the flappys. he's investing many many btc in them. they are for sure market makers that are aligning flappy for a pump & dump action

Hi everyone we haven't run away or anything. As stated in a previous post, one of our members suffered a death of a dear member of his family, other dev has new born baby, I am receiving all feedback and tomorrow Monday will come back with new ideas and strategies. I like the reward miners idea sounds good, of course we want to make a good environment for everyone and the coin to have a good health in the future.

Where in this week is this coin to get pumped? I have been mining since the beginning. I believe it's completely undervalued and it has so many room to grow like 100.000 satoshis or more (10x), just look at SPA or AUR. And this coin has a really smaller premine 0.09% compared to those that has a ridiculous 50%.

I really don't want to miss the train with this one, has lost too many trains for other altcoins now.

OK, so I’ve removed my previous prize offering post in response to sound feedback from qumatru & saykor.  Here is the revised reward scheme:
