I wonder what will get people interested in this coin more.  It almost seems at this point dependent upon the bitcoin interface being useable in a more practical way. A fork.  Ok. Updated software....so it may pop tomorrow.   When will big companies be using this mainstream though?  That's when it'll jump I would guess.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

This one is cool cause Hempcoin is committed to donating to hemp research and legalization. Nowthat's a great idea plus I want to mine hempcoin. I need to do some research on how hempcoin mining works. Thanks.

I dug up some coins in 2014. I just remembered recently, but now I'm gone. Please help me. Thank you. Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad

Dug up coins? Like you buried them in the field & just dug them up today?

There's not much you can do if you've lost them without knowing any information. If they're on a old harddrive you can always try some recovery software.
I'm sorry, I mean, I had some coins on 2014, but now I've imported wallet.dat and found that they've disappeared,please help me!thanks!!!

Unfortunately the devs have make the staking reward pointless and not attractive at all.

Better to just buy and hodl.

I don’t think HempCoin is directly related to the legal  recreational use of marijuana. You can use Hemp to make a lot of things but you CANNOT smoke Hemp. This is one major reason why I dont really think this coin is going to be more successful than the other weed coins.

You CANNOT smoke Hemp. It isn’t related to the legalization of recreational use of marijuana in california in January 2018.

Yeah, this is a good point.  I wouldn't think the general agriculture people would be flocking to a THC "Hempcoin" as their agricultural currency either...leaving THC coin....useless?

We see their pre-announcement tweet #1 last week caused a nearly identical pop to that of this week...

Will the price break 0.00001000 bitcoins per THC coin upon the real news?
Will it just sink back down to less than 50% of that like it did at the end of last week when everyone got bored of it?
Hmm

The website says Hemp Coin works with all dispensaries - thats a total lie.
I've called several in Seattle and Denver. They said they have no reason to use crypto when 'cold hard cash' will do.
Most people don't even know what Bitcoin is let along Hemp Coin.

I'm out.

Another question concerning restoring old THC's:
I've imported two old wallet.dat's into my wallet, but the balance is still 0.00 THC. So where is the mistake ? Does the wallet not work properly ? Or do i need a win64bit wallet again, before i can restore my old balance. I've only tried this restoring on a win32bit hempcoinwallet which tells me each time that my keys were all imported, but the value of balance remains at 0.00 THC.

So what am i doing wrong ?

If you still have a private key you can try to imprt the key, check the following tutorial:
https://community.xtrabytes.global/threads/how-to-export-and-import-wallet-address-private-keys.51/

or try the win64 version again. Page 1 of this thread.

I'm very interested in the masternode path THC is planning on taking.  I have a question, what legalities would I be looking at if I were to run a masternode from my house in a U.S. state that outlaws marijuana?
What legalities if I run the masternode on a "cloud" services.
Still though, absolutely amazing times ahead for all of us!  Cool

Page 1 of this thread: Coin Age Requirement: 45 days for 5% stake...... I stake every 45+ day's or so and get 5%'ish on my stash. .. but i guess it really only works if your not sending and receiving coins cause that maturity resets with each use i believe.
