I think no one can be certain that bitcoin is going up again in 2019. up to now, there is not even a sign of will it and too quick in predicting certainly will not give good results. just look at the current state of affairs to analyze what's to be seen. some of the fundamental aspects that there will be more able to determine the result of playing too much on predictions.

We all very often give some predictions. Sometimes these predictions are correct, sometimes not. But any investor should have his own point of view and his own personal strategy which should imply a waiting period during which his assets will grow. Now it is such a period - we all just need to wait.

Well said mate, predictions lookalike luck in my point of view. Because there are lot of trading experts in this forum and no one can say a similar value of the coin. Very hard to see the market is still red and I am hoping it will recover slowly, a lesson is learnt for sure that anything can happen in trading. Lets wait and have faith in this technology for a change.

There is nothing to think here, this is the crypto space, and one thing I have always known is never to assume what the future is going to bring, but just have one common mindset, which is the fact that based on the present moment, the long term seems bright and that is all that matters.

A lot of us always end up getting worked up unnecessarily when we place our mind to a certain time in the future, and then when things end up not working as planned or as hoped, we start whining and complaining. You will find it hard to focus on the future, if what you want to do is to have some high hopes and then whine when things don't work out. One of the reasons why a lot of people panic and end up capitulating.

I think in the latter part of 2019 we might see some growth, both in the Bitcoin price and the price of altcoins as well. I do not see a rise in 2018 and as the silly season approaches, whales will be taking out a lot of their funds to fund their parties and gifts for the religious activities and their families that lay ahead. Also in January we have Chinese new year, so the Asian whales will be pulling out a lot too, so think late spring 2019 before any decent up trend starting.

There is no guarantee that  bitcoin will rise in 2019, but the whole 2018 has been bearish which lead me to believe that 2019 will be a bit different and we might see serious price action as people spot opportunities with bitcoin!
