SiaPrime - S3 Compatible Decentralized Cloud Storage
with Sia Network Protocol Compatibility

SiaPrime is a fork of the Sia decentralized storage project, open to any Blake(2b) ASIC. Our Prime directive is to develop a product suite on top of the Sia protocol while supporting the Sia team. Our dashboard of products are a mix of open (community edition) and closed source (enterprise edition) tools focusing on small and medium business (SMB) with an S3-compatible interface and features. We extend key features of the Sia infrastructure to provide additional geographical redundancy, edge caching and storage tiers while providing important KPIs to administrators. Our key benefit is providing advanced network discovery and metadata aggregation presented in a friendly suite of applications.

Over the next year, we'll ship product allowing truly productive use of cloud storage on Sia-based networks for business using direct and channel strategies to create sales funnels for a globally diverse customer set. SiaPrime is uniquely positioned to drive cloud storage on our own network, but also as an interface to the core Sia network and any fork coming out of the Sia protocol. With SiaPrime, customers will be able to see these networks as a single homogeneous backbone and group by geographical, performance or price considerations.

Specifications
Expected Ticker: SCP
Chain Launch: 10/30/2018
Algorithm: Blake(2b) open to all ASIC manufacturers
Total Supply: Unlimited with declining inflation + coin burn
Block Reward: 300,000 declining by 1 token per block with a 10,000 floor
Block Timing: 10 minutes
API Port: 4280
RPC Port: 4281
Hosting Port: 4282

Preliminary Roadmap
Software Specification

Initial Token Grant
10,551,000,000SCP premine for expenses/airdrop as follows

Expenses
51m SCP   Mining pool maturity cushion: 5 mining pools
200m SCP   Project/dev expenses
300m SCP   Nebulous Inc (Sia creator) bounty
1.75b SCP   Storage Host Incentive Program
628m SCP   Exchange listing fees fund
No founder premine

Airdrop
3.1b SCP distributed on a 1:5 basis to existing Siacoin holders of record (1SCP for every 5SC)
4.5b SCP from exchange addresses are escrowed into cold wallets for a period of 1 year.
Coins were not distributed to the top 35 addresses (determined to be exchange addresses), but directed into a cold wallet. If the exchanges agree to list/distribute the assets, they may be provided and added to the circulating supply. Otherwise we may implement a scheduled token burn or direct the coins to further project goals

Project Cold wallets
Links to cold wallet lockups and how they impact total and circulating supply

Project fee
20% (first 30,000 blocks)
Linear decay from 20% to 10%
Token burn - from block 105,000 on, the 10% fee will be sent to an unspendable collateral address and burned

Projected total supply
The SiaPrime supply is built to closely mimic the original Sia supply. The Sia protocol includes two key provisions (storage node collateral, renter allowance) that lock up significant amounts of coins, requiring a large supply.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

It does mean you get SCP tokens in that ratio as long as you held them in a private wallet and had the keys. We have reached out to the exchanges and asked them to distribute the assets upon airdrop but so far, there has been no commitment.

Bitmain A3 units had a pretty good run on our chain at genesis. Even today, they are pulling a couple thousand coins per day with a high difficulty as the adjustment compensates for a lot of early blocks. The S11 is still the ASIC to beat, at least until the new StrongU units begin hitting the streets.

SiaPrime - Decentralized Cloud Storage Applications
with Sia Network Protocol Compatibility

SiaPrime is a fork of the Sia decentralized storage project, open to any Blake(2b) ASIC. Our Prime directive is to develop a product suite on top of the Sia protocol while supporting the Sia core protocol and team. Our dashboard of products will be a mix of open (community edition) and closed source (enterprise edition) toolsets allowing customers of all types to purchase and sell centralized cloud storage with a variety of administrative features. The goal is to create robust cloud storage access for SMBs, enterprises, organizations and individuals. We expect to extend key features of the Sia infrastructure to provide additional geographical redundancy, edge caching and storage tiers while providing important KPIs to administrators.

The Sia protocol is close to production ready after 4 years of development. We're forcasting less than a year before companies and individuals are able to productively use storage capability on Sia networks equal to standard cloud services. SiaPrime is a product suite built to allow friendly and customized access to the network specific to individual need. We'll use direct and channel sales to reach customers with affiliate marketing to create sales funnels for a globally diverse customer set.

With a 2nd layer focus, SiaPrime is uniquely positioned to drive cloud storage on our own network, but also as an interface to the core Sia network and any fork coming out of the Sia protocol. Currently two additional Sia forks are building host capability and creating cloud storage capacity. With SiaPrime, customers will be able to see these networks as a single homogenous backbone and group by geographical, performance or price considerations.

With the fallout from the recent Sia forks, there are now 3 separate Sia-based spinoffs. SiaPrime is the only project on friendly terms with the original Sia team and is the only project working to further the original goals of the Sia project. Our work will have benefits for our network as well as the original Sia network. So, as far as exchanges go, we want to go slowly and let the dust settle while the other projects hop onto any exchange that accepts them. We have our airdrop still to come and we're finishing off a solid block explorer. After these items, we'll start the dialog with appropriate exchanges and move the ball up the field.

So based on this this tone, you are saying that 2 kind of sia is working together ? or it is not ? i do not understand what does that mean by 'friendly terms' with original Sia.
and how about another one ? did they claim to be the 'real' sia project, just like BCH did ?
let say, you and them are not working together. then what is the difference between your project with the others 2 ?

You have written, "Our main directive is to develop a product package on top of the Sia protocol, supporting the main protocol and the Sia command.". The Sia platform was greeted by the community with enthusiasm. But, the problem is in the current situation - a general fall in the cryptocurrency market.

It's really hard to keep up with the enthusiasm, when the cryptomarket is in a situation like today.
I think, that a lot of people have lost their enthusiasm.
everyone is waiting for growth - which is not.
it is psychologically difficult. Sad

The development team has contacted and plans to list SCP  on any exchange and have specific time for this?
