Honestly, holding is our only options to not make the situations far even more complicated. If you are a bounty hunter, you are probably having many token holdings due to the delay of the marketlisting and also due to the bad market situation. What to do with the token holdings is to just hold for a quite little longer simply because of the hope that there will be afterwards a recovery. And since dumps are temporary, we may really exoect of such thing to occur.
We know the decrease in the price of cryptocurrencies is temporary the huge problem is that many depend on the income that they were getting out of cryptocurrencies for their everyday needs and people like that cannot wait for the market to recover, they are going to cash out their coins regardless of what is the price and they are the ones that lose the most because they need that money now. |

We've had price stability for a while now, and prices are so much lower than previous ATHs for every coin.
Now is looking like a great time to buy more coins if you can, as we are all expecting prices to rise fairly soon.
Can we just stop looking and comparing the price only during the all time high? It's not the only basis in the market on why everyone should keep holding. Let's move on and accept the fact that all time high days were gone and we are now facing a new situation of the market which is basically normal. After ATH, what can we expect? there's a quick dump and stability so hold and move on. Well that's just it! Some people are holding only because they have those insane prices in their head and they wont sell unless they see them again. Maybe that's a good thing.  |

For example, I'm doing this. I hold a large number of coins and don't sell because I don't see the point now in this. I decided to forget about these coins for a while. Let them lie in my wallet and wait for their time.

I know that patient is very important but should I keep patient when market keep bleeding like this? I don't know what to do right now. When ETH price was $150, I thought that I should invest more but luckily I didn't do that. Until now I'm still holding but if this situation keep happening, I think I'll cut the loss by exchanging to USDT.

Most people here prefer eth and btc saying that they drop less in value than altcoins. Shifting from a major coin to a good ICO with an active team that really cares for its community would be a lot better. I moved to mfx and when eth was 700$ and instead of being down many % now, I could say that I am pretty much at the same. They rewarded their supporters with a generous airdrop, making up for the markets situation. There are other tokens that would do such things, you just gotta do your research, find them, and hold them!

Everyone are shouting here, and calling out for the next bull run and yet the market is still not responding for everyone's concern. The bull market is not showing any sign for the remaining 2 months of 2018, and this is why people are keep on panicking.
My golden advice to those who are still waiting for the bull run is that, don't forget to be more patience and always play long run. Do buy more good coins, hold more potential coins so when the bull comes, you have the chance to take more profit.
Let's be more positive in this market even if the situation is not in favor to us. Pump and dump are still on a roar, patience plays the best role to those hodlers, let's be more like them and just enjoy the current trend.
Well, that's really what we need right now, Patience. Now is the time to stack up more potentials coins and hodl. By the time the bull run starts, we will all smile |

I agree with you but I don't think you must hodl something in these conditions even if they are very good projects because most of them drops because of btc in these days and I don't get this high risk. |

if you want to be a good holder, you should increase patience,, its easy to said but hard to do but if you want to be a smart traders,, i think, yesterday, when ethereum price hit $160 i think thats a good time to sell, then you can buy back in the deeper price my friend regards |

Instead of holding coins you can start trading them and earn profit and lower the purchase price and increase the volume of invested coins. In this bear market you can sell your holding coins and buy back in low with profit so in this way you can lower your purchase price and the volume of coin will also increase. This is the good way to be in profit in bear market.

This is the good way to be in profit in bear market.
You are totally right according to me, hodl is not good strategy in bear market so why you prefer to do this and lose big money. You can sell and buy lower price like btcdevil said. |
