We are a start-up in emryonic stadium of evolution. We have and idea, company and funds. What we’re missing is a founding team. As one of two persons engaged in project, since few months I’m working on Proof-of-Concept. We don’t have even whitepaper yet, but idea is practically fully developed. To go further, we need people and that means (perhaps) you. So you can become part of a team that will build the future. Here is a short Q&A.
Who are you?
We are a company in St. Kitts and Nevis (nice law regarding crypto). Privately we are rather unknown in the crypto-sphere. But we are ambitious and have proper knowledge and experience
What are you up to?
In blockchain technology a fundamental problem is still unsolved – how to achieve scalability, security and decentralization at once. It seems that only a compromise is possible. But we seem to have some interesting idea. We want to make a cryptocurrency underpinned by novel consensus mechanism that will use PoW only in short intervals of time, separated by long intervals of fast, modified PoS done in a manner of mathematical “lottery”, in which block producers are known in advance, with specific implementation of sharding. Using this we can achieve:
-tens of thousands tx/s
- source of consensus, tolerant to nothing-at-stake problem, long-range-attack and weak subjectivity
-real decentralization
This technology is supposed to run smart contracts. It will also utilize some sophisticated cryptoeconomical solutions to allow everybody to make stablecoins pegged to e.g. USD, EUR, ETH on top of it (in form of smart contracts), in which the value and existence of reserves can be easily audited, but still reserves are decentralized.
Will you make ICO?
Yes, when we will have all the necessary work done.
What do you offer?
Salary 7000 USD++/month AND share in tokens. Work is remote.
What skills should I posses?
-very good understanding of blockchain technology, especially concensus-reaching methods, protocols underlying top cryptocurrencies, network topology
-good understanding of cryptography used in blockchains
-some knowledge about cryptoeconomics and game theory
-very good programming skills and code auditing in 2+ languages used in crypto e.g Java, Python, C++, Solidity
-experience with ICO project
-skills to write technical papers
-ambition
