The Raptoreum project is very pleased to announce the upcoming release of our own modernised version of the venerable weusecoins platform.

Looks to me like we are well underway. Yes, there has been a slight delay on GR but that has come at the gain of additional developer power a bit further down the line so mainnet is still on track.

GhostRider is alive, will take another 5 days or so to test, build binaries, etc etc. But it is not long now!

GhostRider is now live on Testnet phase 2! Currently only Linux binaries are available but we are working on MAC, Windows, and ARM builds. Download at https://github.com/Raptor3um/Raptoreum/releases

Note: Port has changed to 9868, RPC port has not changed.

To start mining open the wallet help > debug window > console and type "setgenerate true 2" the number is number of cores you want it to use. The main explorer will not be working correctly once it is updated as we need to make some fixes for GhostRider. Use http://exp.raptoreum.com/ for now instead.

It is time for Raptoreum to adopt and official logo. @dznuts has done a great job with the multiple logos he has created for Raptoreum and they are currently in different areas, but a little complex for a logo that will be listed on places like CMC. This was brought up by @duckavenger and is a good point. The logo needs to be catchy but yet simple, check coinmarketcap top 100 list to see Raptoreum current logos and graphics check channel #promo-materials.

This logo will be used across Raptoreum and will likely appear at future Bitcoin and Crypto events and conferences so it needs to be special! One idea brought up by DuckAvenger is a the foot of the Raptor family (bird) specifically the claws / talons.

You can check if you having a winning address by doing ./raptoreum-cli validateaddress or in the QT wallet Help > Debug > Console and type validateaddress <address> without the <>. Alternatively I have made a script that you can run to check if you own any of the winning addresses here: https://github.com/Raptor3um/lucky_block_verify
