Risk is a given in any situation.  However, crypto may have started as a supposedly noble endeavor, only to fall due to scams and whatnots..

I couldn't imagine that 2018 is risky as a matter of fact risks is always present everywhere and every time. Risk means always whether in crypto or out of crypto. The year 2018 is not what the majority predicted to happen most specially now as we are in December expectedly bull run to happen. We can see that there is no sign yet of bull run. But still choose not to give up, be positive and do your crypto job as well.

Maybe we will get to see new heights in prices. I believe it will, especially ethereum as they are now developing the ethereum 2.0 which includes point-of-sale products for merchants for them to start accepting cryptocurrency payments.

I do believe the tide can turn quite fast. Many people that are in this space for years remember those moments vividly. When things couldn't seem to go lower, it suddenly spiked hard.
