Is there any way to check everyday forum activity?

Just curious to know how many posts made everyday in our forum so I searched for it but found nothing so someone help me if there is a way to find that.I just go this curiosity because I can see huge downfall in the posting activity on many boards maybe because of not too many signature campaigns.

I have no idea how accurate some of the data is there, and haven't checked it in a while. Seems like 7994.49 is the average posts per day, however that seems hard to believe, and I would say its much more than that. Also, it seems like it only tracked up to December 2017.

The top posters, and some other data seems to be up to date though.

The number of posts has been going down since theymos announced the Enhanced newbie restrictions & requirements, less than 2 months ago.
Since then, I've been keeping track of weekly changes:

On average, in 3 weeks before the announcement, the forum saw 353,813 new posts per week.

• In the first week after the announcement, 286408 posts were made (-19.05%).
• In the second week after the announcement, 280503 posts were made (-20.72%).
• In the third week after the announcement, 259694 posts were made (-26.60%).
• In the fourth week after the announcement, 263685 posts were made (-25.47%).
• In the fifth week after the announcement, 240339 posts were made (-32.07%).
• In the sixth week after the announcement, 240045 posts were made (-32.15%).
• In the seventh week after the announcement, 219689 posts were made (-37.91%).

The forum now gets 31k new posts per day, which was 50k posts per day before the changes.
If you check patrol, you'll see it's still mostly useless spam.

Like as you stated, the data is not up to date. It's limited to December 13, 2017. So, the avg is correct for that period, IMO, since at the beginning, there was less people.
In mid 2017, the ratio of posts have been increased significantly. Therefore, if we take the data of 2018, the data will be drastically changed.

The merit statistics gives an average number of posts made in the forum, and it seems to date back to 2017.
Daily numbers fluctuate rapidly and wildly as we have bots sign up during specific periods and spam the forum while some days could be quieter.

LoyceV's post gives a more accurate statistics, and it dates back to the recent newbie restriction.
You can use available data to draw up a reference, it depends on what exactly you want to find out.

Deleted posts are included. Theymos posted some data on the number of deleted posts per day.

The official average posts per day count I believe probably takes into account all a few years of history (both number of posts and days), and therefore does not reflect current values.

So the Average has gone down very noticably since the change of rules, but is still 4 times more than the average shown on the official stats from a monthly point of view.

Note: I couldn’t retrieve the data for the same day of each month, so I got then at the nearest interval possible to 30 days, but calculated the average per day based on the number of days between on date and the previous month’s reading.
