In my own opinion, the more altcoins and erc20 tokens being released everyday in market, the more it affects Bitcoin or even Ethereum's price to go down.Since the volume of investors should be instead investing on btc and eth are now divided to altcoins.What do you think?

I don't think that will be the case. Look how many coins are already dead and have very low volume that they will be dead pretty soon. And look at how the new alts are being used most of the time. They have no utility value and they are being used primarily to accumulate more bitcoins. So they may be around for some time, but most of them will fail in the years to come. This may happen all at once in a single bubble market crash, or gradually over time. It doesn't matter how.

No. Do you have an idea how much altcoins have been created and died since Bitcoin born? Thousands. Does it affect Bitcoin price and its development? No either. There have been countless altcoins being created since the day of colored coins, fancy algorithm, PoS, ERC20, etc but Bitcoin still stands, going through all that hype.

Those investors might be speculating by buying those coins/tokens but at the end of the day, I'm sure most of them keep their profits and their capital in BTC/ETH. Those altcoins are just speculation tools for them, not for long-term investing.

The creation of more altcoins will only bring more pollution to an already oversaturated altcoin market, and it won't have an effect on Bitcoin or Ethereum as they both have a big market on their own. If anything, more altcoins will only bring more competition to the altcoin market making investors think twice before investing in the first coin they see. Price wise, it doesn't matter how many altcoins are on the market, bitcoin and eth have something 99% of the altcoins lack which is trust, this is key to an investor looking to pour some capital into a cryptocurrency.

There are more than 2k alts on the market, yet bitcoin and eth still sit at the very top of the charts, this is something that won't change in a very long time.

That is right thinking, we need to eliminate many shitcoin in this market so that all investors focus on the top altcoin. There are over 2100 altcoin in the market and if in 2019 we only have 500-1000 altcoin then of course the market will quickly go up

yes, soon or later i believe shitcoins will be dead in current market situations

You are thinking about the wrong idea Ethereum will not go down because of the overpopulated ERC20 tokens it will only make ETH stronger well most Altcoins was base on ERC20 that used for smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain So newly born tokens was base on ETH and  how it will function within the Ethereum ecosystem, And BTC is the father of all in that sense ETH is base on Bitcoin, So Altcoin does really stand a chance against the two, The only thing that could go against Bitcoin and Ethereum would be a new coin that has its own blockchain technology.

I don't think the creation or proliferation of altcoins has any adverse impact on Bitcoin. Thousands of alts have been created since Bitcoin was first invented and the current price speaks for itself. ETH could be the coin affected by these coins especially the scam projects especially as they're launched on the Ethereum Network. Projects they are doing well in the marketplace will have positive impact on the value of ETH and vice versa.

I don't think that is what is happening to market.  From marketcap you should understand that this your explanation did not add up.  December last year the total market cap was above $750,000,000,000. But now it is around $212,000,000,000. I think there is another reason why investors are selling off there investments as the funds are no longer there in the cryptocurrencies market.  Investors are coverting to fiat and not another Cryptocoins.

Considering the fact that only one in a hundred ICOs are actually worthwhile projects when you filter out the scams, the imitations, the gambles and the unrealistic projects.

ICOs struggle to even raise funds to continue the project these days, I think a real threat to get bitcoin dominance is the already established currencies. Like Ethereum, Ripple, bitcoin Cash and so on.

Most altcoins never achieve any kind of meaningful market cap that is enough to affect the price of bitcoin or ethereum, but it seems to be correct that the more coins that are released on the market the lesser the bitcoin dominance, we saw this perfectly in the bull run of the previous year with the bitcoin dominance reaching very low levels, but now we are seeing that the dominance is coming back because many of those coins are disappearing or losing investors against bitcoin.

You can find BTC and ethereum as main trading pair on the most of the Exchanges. Both ETH and BTC plays separate roles in the cryptospace as BTC acts as a store of value and ETH acts as the blockchain infrastructure platform. Yes I agree with you little bit about ethereum new altcoins in blockchain infrastructure segment can affect the the price of ethereum due to competition as this new altcoins also have same target market. About BITCOIN there is not a single altcoin which affect the price of BTC accept stable coins pegged to US dollars.

But for me isn't the main reason why bitcoin and ethereum falling down their in the market as of now
As volatile decentralized currency nobody can tell about the cause of this current situation of bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general
When analysts the sitaution ethereum is always use for every icos project so meaning ethereum is indemand coins so why their price goes dump

Don't forget too that invest in ICO need ETH too, it means investor will buy ETH first and then get their tokens, it is right if they profit they will sell their ETH, but i don't see it really affects on ETH price.

In principle, it is, soon the new alts will simply  crushed by the mass. After all, each coin or token takes for itself a part of the total market capitalization, but the main thing is that the demand for them is low. After all, any investor knows that it is better to invest in a stable alt than a little-known one with vague prospects.

I don't know where you get that idea. Bitcoin is bitcoin and investors would love to invest their money on only the coin that is profitable at the moment. And remember that there are altcoins being born, but are you aware of many altcoins also dying and lost to oblivion?

So it doesn't makes any sense at all if you are a investor to invest on shitcoins because sooner or later they will just die and become obsolete.

I don't think that's a problem, because every year new funds will continue to come in as the interest of crypto-invested people increases, maybe not this year due to market conditions that crash, maybe 2 years or next year.
