Ok, so I have 6 machines with a hashrate of 67457 each. If the difficulty is at 15 already then why would it make sense for me to mine? Can anyone explain without including a smartass remark?

Isn't this a rhetorical question? Someone just hooked up their botnet to the coin and it's now pretty much unmineable by us mere mortals... I'm jumping ship on this at least :/

Just making sure I'm not missing something here. That's all.

It's kinda like buying lottery tickets at this point without pool miners. YOU buy extra tickets so that the lucky winner gets more!!

waltsmith

That's what I thought. I'll just shut down my miners and go have a sandwich! The math doesn't add up to be worth solo mining at this point. I was excited to mine this coin too!!

NO!! Don't shut em down!! That'll lower the difficulty and the big guys won't profit as much..STOPPPPP!!! Tongue

Well if they're selling for low then its time to buy and sell later when it's high

looks like some buyers are filtering in now @ www.cryptoaltex.com

HVC is now trading on www.atomic-trade.com.

What good is it to have HVC on exchanges if we the miners do not have any to exchange?

dont worry with the IPO, premine and slush fund, there are lots of coins without any miners ...

waltsmith

No. you are voting on what the blocks of coin will be in the future. Right now it is around 700 but if you set yours to 1, it will vote for 1 coin per block which means you have a better chance of mining the coin. IT DOES NOT MEAN YOU VOTE FOR HOW MANY COINS YOU GET. YOU NEED TO SET YOUR VOTE TO THE LOWEST NUMBER (1) IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A CHANCE OF FINDING A BLOCK.
