Also, the price fell due to the fall in the Bitcoin price, as a result a chain reaction began during which some of the major holders of the ether sold large volumes of their ETH.

Hello, You know guys most of reason why ETH falls down because of a lot of scammers used the smart contract and make a bright idea about for the future but its only fake. They always convince the investor using their good marketing strategy and once the investors are convinced so they invest their money. And once the scammers has a lot of ETH accumulated from the investors the will sell immediately so they can affect the whole market cap of ETH. What do you think?

Well, if no one will going to ever support the ETH, it will going to lose its reputation and eventually affect the price. Well, Scam ICO's do really affects also to the reputation of ethereum as it has created the smartcontract.

Scammers are already here before and they do not only focus with ETH so I don't blame them on what happen with ETH.
The real reason why ETH is down is because bitcoin is down and as it's the most dominant coin in the crypto market, as a result, it will drive all the altcoins down. We saw some altcoins which increases its value but it's only temporary and it will not prosper without the support of bitcoin. Mark my word, once bitcoin begins to be bullish, altcoins will rise especially ETH, and even shitcoins has a chance to rise as well.

This actually can happen and maybe youre right that it is really affects ETH price. People will do anything just to have money and cryptocurrency is not safe with it. Even the scammers adopt on our modern currency and they now use it as a tool to get easy money from innocent people.

Maybe that is the point to bitcoin get dropped so ethereum price's also drops its price so some people recognize don't know what happen so that they saying scammers, fault so price dumps out.

What you are saying is right but not only with Ethereum, but also for whole market when the scam situation still happens rampant. The best way for everyone is to improve knowledge and wariness to restrict fraud

I guess it's gonna take a little bit to the ethereum price down. Some investors are now more careful to invest their money. Because the investors would be smarter to avoid the project scam.

Yes, I think that may well be so. However, it is unlikely that the scammers are aiming to destroy Ethereum in this way. They probably just want to make a profit and they do not care what will happen to the coin.

Scammers can really influence people, and it is precisely the actions of the campaign that are very much outraged because investors' money leaves the market. It's sad to understand this, but this is a big problem today.

If the scammers who today could still collect a huge amount of cryptocurrencies still today can put pressure on the market, this is true. But no matter how it all sounds, the market still has much more serious problems than scammers. The problem is whether the world needs it at all.

I agree with the view that people who hold a lot of ETH and they sell in bulk will make ETH decrease. Besides Bitcoin also contributes to ETH and other coins falling in price. On the other side of the crypto, the market is degraded after a period of high price increases.
If a whale that is holding ETH begins to sell then it is clear that such an action will reduce the price of ethereum but the amount of ethereum will need to be huge for that to happen and most people do not have that kind of money so most of what we do does not effect the market at all so I will not worry about such a thing, what we need to worry is about whether or not ethereum can maintain its price now that the hard fork will not happen.

I don't think they can move the market with their funds, i don't think it's enough, i wouldn't be worry that much only whales can bring down the market and no one else, a single scammer wouldn't be able to do anything to the market.
Everything is not as rosy as you imagine. Recall, at least, the EOS, which periodically sells its 400k eth, thereby affecting the exchange rate of the currency itself. Yes, as for the EOS, we are dealing with a competitor of the eth, who is really interested in this, but it still clearly shows how such a sale affects the currency exchange rate.
Now imagine that in the conditions of the market, with small volumes of trades (as we have seen recently), some kind of scam project will sell at least 2-5k ether. And you think it will not affect the course of the eth? You are wrong.

EOS is simply waiting for the right time before dumping ethereum out of the market. EOS doesn't have a usable product yet, but when it does and becomes close to toppling ethereum they will dump all their holdings of ETH and sideline them down the shitcoin market

I think that the EOS can't take the place of the ether. Even when their product will be ready and they will throw off all their ether, the maximum that they can do is dump the course of the ether. I'm also sure that the ether team is smart enough to prevent this event from destroying it. I think that in the near future some kind of protective measures will be taken for this.

I agree with you. Scammer can affect the ETH price. Ethereum contract system is very developed but it is very easy to make new Token on the Ethereum platform. So, many scammers taking a chance to scam newbie people and by doing that ETH price can decrease!  Therefore, it is very hard to realize which project is going to be scam. I will not forget Hashcard and Ubonium names! They looked very real but they scam 24 millions USD and ETH price affected for that!

In principle, this is the picture we have seen the whole of 2018, as such fraudulent projects were very many, but of course the goal was not to lower the cost of Ethereum.

I will a yes to this topic, if scammers steal some huge amount of Ethereum, and the scammers wish to sell them off at the same time, it will affect the price of Ethereum.

Scammers and fake ico may appear as an excuse for the dump in etherum price
But they are not entirely at fault

Scammers can only cause a sudden blip in price and not a consistent dump
As experienced with etherum

I do not think that someone can have a great influence on the price of such a popular coin. It seems to me that the price of a coin is related to the overall ratio of supply and demand.

in my opinion it is true only partially, yes many ico are scam and perhaps they do so however the low value of eth is also given by the low values of the market and the poor volumes
