I do not think that it is late to join the crypto currency world, because every period gives its bonuses. Of course nowadays the decreasing crypto market can not give a big profit rapidly and right now, but after some period it will. Now you have time to learn a lot without any hurry.

I don't think that you are late, your in the right time. The market just cleansing right now, and the price of cryptocurrency are  at the same price  before the bull run. Check the history in coinmarketcap , filter the price before the bull run in 2017.
