New block explorer is up now at http://explore.was.club/
I'll be glad to add a faucet to it if someone is willing to donate the initial giveaway funds.

All right MrData- Please post an address and I'll send some WAS.  Wink

Cool, I'll start work on it now. The address is WhYWfWnJHjYL22YWrjQhM1cuBA8KoUZaJ3 (this will be the cold wallet for the faucet, just so a lot of coins aren't on the server so people don't try to hack it.)

Thanks, I got it. How much do you figure it should pay out per person? It could also be random from X to Y amount too.

I'll send a bunch but most likely really late tonight since I'm 13 weeks behind on my new wallet.

Can we randomize from 100 to 5000? I'll send 50 mils so that will be enough for 12-15k transactions.

MrData, you are always amazing!  I've been tied up with some personal stuff this morning, but will be online focusing on WAS later this evening.

Here is what I plan to accomplish this evening, or at least over the weekend.

  • New ANN Thread
  • New Webpage - http://www.was.club/ (short URL, catchy extension)
  • New Mining Pool
  • Paper Wallet
  • Social Media Updates

Obviously, we will need to focus on getting listed on an exchange ASAP.  That'll be our big press once our "environment" is up and running.

Exciting times!!!

Hi Everyone -

I'm working on everything previously stated and have the ANN Thread up...  It is below.  Website and mining pool should be on before bed time on the east coast of US.

Fuck this version 2 of bullshit.

You are free to continue with your version 1. Dont trade it in and find a developer or do it your self.

We are still solving blocks and client works fine for v1... Pretty sad you guys can't come up with a new coin name. Just stealing the name for your own use's. Thats like making Mcdonaldsv2 and it not being owned by the same people. You could have called it WeAreSatoshi X11 and Id have more respect for it.

We didn't come along and steal it... the WAS community reached out to us and asked for help in reviving the coin. After much public discussion and in full cooperation with the original WAS dev MrBrew we came up with a plan of action and executed it.

The main 2 reasons we had to do a v2 are:
1) Saturation of the market with billions of coins holding the value down,
2) People wanted Proof of Stake; which is very, very hard to retrofit into an existing codebase.

Don't worry about him. He can keep his version 1 tucked away as a worthless coin.
