I always wonder why the heck I should invest my money in some shitty project that doesn't even have the face in the form of legit team, CEO and so on. It worked only during the bull run at the end of 2017, where even the most crappy project could bring many x-s. It was no more than just a nonsense.

I can see that the ICO you've mentioned is a total SCAM, their website isn't working anymore. Also, i would never trust a project with an anonymous team only in some cases when the project provided is totally amazing, i would look at the code and look at the site design, their roadmap and i would appreciate if they are launching a bounty and having a great spreadsheet.Honestly, when you see a project team putting alot of love and hardwork, i can't say that they are SCAM but i must be aware. Don't even think about investing your own cash, invest what you can afford to lose and stay safe, always put stop loss orders and stay up-to-date with the graphs.

Yeah, in most cases anonymous team is not a very good sign, that's true. I would say in 9/10 cases it's a signal for you to pass this opportunity and walk by ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) The thing is that it's much easier to make a scam, collect money and disappear when nobody knows who you are. And team information absence should make you think twice before investing in such project. But of course there some cases when things are different - it depends on the idea of the coin I think.

By and large, there is nothing wrong with that. That's just not every investor wants to invest in such a project.Everyone needs public access and openness.Another option is that if the project really offers the coolest anonymous application or wallet, then it is more likely that technical specialists will evaluate it and buy tokens.I'm 100% sure of that

Transparency is what everybody are looking and blockchain technology is transparent after all so why the team behind the ICO remain anonymous? There is a big chance that it would become a scam since nobody can trace them.

Cryptocurrency space is full of anonymity due to its characteristics of being decentralized. But, ICOs are treated differently if the team is anonymous. Because, these crowdfunding are collecting money from investors to support their project. How could you trust ICOs without knowing who are the members of the team. Of course, we want to know at least their capability.

it is better to avoid this circumstances rather than we wasting our time and energy to engage in this ICO. you know that ICO with valid team can be scam, moreover anonymous ICO team. my suggestion is search another ICO with good team and avoid anonymous ICO team. actually I wonder what is their profit (anonymous ICO team) to make scam ICO? why they just harm other people with this.

I doubt very much that I don't have a team, because now I see a project that has a team that many scam what else they don't want to publish the team and do not consider it the same as Sathosi, he is creator while the ico project is only a user and does not create anything

ICO with an anonymous team can still walk but it makes many people doubt. Because we can be known to investors and hunters when determining projects based on the Team. But if the team is anonymous, of course, there are many people who doubt and that is very risky.

Actually we cannot set a scam / no before they run away from an investment project. but you are at great risk if the team you are joining is Anonymous. you have to consider why you really want to join in it. is it because the project will be fully functional and successful? you need to analyze more deeply.

It seems that there is too much risk to be taken, I suggest not to take part in the ICO with an anonymous team because if we look at reality, many teams that are not anonymous commit fraud, what if the team is Anonymous? then that makes us have to be more careful.
Recently, I nevertheless understood from this branch that I am quite right to ensure that all the same with a great thorough check applies to projects that do not show their team. An important element of my analysis.

A 1-2 years ago it not was a problem. But today I don't participate in the ICO with anon team. If project want to develop it not need to hide team. If they want money the team must be public. Or don't start the ICO and make some crowdfunding other methods

There is a high risk that the project is or will turn into scam because people love free money and as soon as they have chance to get free money, they will collect money and leave the project.

Perhaps not, but with a much greater probability, we can assume that the ICO, whose team is hidden, will be a fraud, so it is not worth investing in such a project.
This is just a small part to analyze. Because the analysis must be carried out directly in different steps. Today, analysis is probably one of the most important steps for investing in projects.

Yes there is a great chance that its a scam. One characteristic of a successful ICO is transparency. If one is being anonymous, there is something unusual on the project. Besides why will you hide the team behind the project if your not going to scam the investors. There is no point. In an ICO, everything should be available for the investors to know what they are dealing with.

If the project creates an anonymous coin or technology, then this is normal, in other cases it is not normal. If people came up with a new technology and want to raise money for it, then potential investors want to know who they are investing in their finances.

The ICO project must be transparent and everyone can find out who the Team, Managers, and Developers are. If the anonymous team is better, I will not take part in the ICO because the possibility of the project is fake. This team is very important for everyone to know to determine that they can build the ICO until it is successful or not.

If the team is not transparent, we should actually suspect it is fraud. Because usually a good project is a transparent project. One of them is income, team and others. Because if the team is not transparent, it is better to analyze the project first.

I can recommend to skip ICO with the anonymous team because you can loose your invested money. Don't risk your money if you're not sure about the project. Satoshi didn't raise money!
Yeah you are right, why let's risk our money for one project, if they collect money and disappear in one day how you can get your money back, you can't. So don't do this unnecessary things, there are many other opportunities in the market.

Gone are the days ICO teams are anonymous. This days any ico team that shows anonymous or fake ids are pure scam and I advice that people stay away.
