What a bold move coming at a time when people are liquidation their portfolio and panic selling. But like it's always said, fortune favours the bold. Looking at it, a car is a liability and a cost center with it's ability to depreciate overtime. So for me, it's hardly a dumb move. Good luck to you man.

You are not crazy! It is quite intelligent and brave enough in the present.
You are smart when choosing to sell cars and buy ETH in a big discount situation. And brave enough to do that when so many others fear that the price will fall even further.
And I believe you will not regret doing so. Keep ETH in your pocket for at least 6 months and check again.

That's a brave decision and hopefully you're gf is not killing you right now. We are also joking earlier about my friend selling her motorcycle and me selling my desktop to buy more alts now that's the prices are too cheap. You'll gain profit absolutely but when? Hopefully before the year ends so you can buy a new car. Good luck!

I think you made a wise decision. But it should be better to buy not only Ether but other crypto assets like BTC, XMR to diminish the risk.

LOL. Good luck. But at first, I think you should keep all your ETH at the safest wallet that you can and make sure you'll not become a panic seller. LOL. I think it's a little bit difficult to say that you'll hold it for at least 2 years cause we don't know what will happen in the future, we don't know it'll be good or not. All we can do at the moment is just believe in ETH and crypto world  |

Some hours ago i posted this after realizing the big drop... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5069276.0So just gave a call to someone i knew he was interested since few weeks ago in my girlfriends car, and just sold it for 2000€..nearly 13 ETH at this prices.. maybe for others it is not a lot of money..but for us, it is..no more money left, and living with my parents! hahaha yes i STILLL BELIEVE IN CRYPTO.. the best is still out there to come in the next 2 years i think.. so with a pair of.. I am ALL IN wish me good luck (please dont follow the same behaviour unless you are as mad as me and ready to loose it all)so you are a futuristic with a big drop you see it as a opportunity to earn and you see it as an investment for a long term your decision is good enough but since you will just hold a coin it is better for you to choose btc rather than eth just my insight. |

The price was around at $200 on 14 nov but now the price is at $110, almost 100% lower than your buy rate. That's why i've never go all in. I prefer to invest gradually to reduce the risk. He still bought at a discounted price so that wouldn't be problem to him as he's just going long with ethereum. This would be a lesson learned for those that didn't act accordingly when the price dropped. |

Many people will afraid about doing such a thing by selling the car for purchasing the ETH, in this peak position you have done a great job because ETH is very low in the market and it is the right time to grab as many ETH as possible in order to make decent money when the market starts recovering.
