IN fact, as said before i invested on few different altcoins my ETH, and was lucky that one of then rised really really a lot.....
Anyway, just if i had left all in ETH i would de still having profits!

Eth is actually a good choice to invest. It is not a crap coin and you know there's real technology behind it aside from the fact that their developers are well known in the crypto community. So congrats for what you achieved, for sure your gf is very happy with the outcome. Maybe pulling her in crypto trading also.  |

Awsome. Cryptocurrency appears to be a market where the Zurich Axioms stratege could be really stupid if you will invest onm altcoins. Investing in more shitcoins and wait until one of them give you 500%. The others could go to zero and you will still make great profit. |

That's right, car is an expense and if you don't really consider it as a necessity, selling it to invest in ETH is a good decision. With the way ETH is moving lately, it's shows a bullish movement and OP might be able to buy a new car out from the profit of his investment here. |

Some hours ago i posted this after realizing the big drop... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5069276.0So just gave a call to someone i knew he was interested since few weeks ago in my girlfriends car, and just sold it for 2000€..nearly 13 ETH at this prices.. maybe for others it is not a lot of money..but for us, it is..no more money left, and living with my parents! hahaha yes i STILLL BELIEVE IN CRYPTO.. the best is still out there to come in the next 2 years i think.. so with a pair of.. I am ALL IN  wish me good luck (please dont follow the same behaviour unless you are as mad as me and ready to loose it all)-------- update 9/dec Many of you say i am crazy or stupid and i should be shaking right now... but you are very wrong.. in fact, I am absolutely not nervous or worried. if you read my later posts, you will find i invested my ETH on 4 altcoins, and the value in ETH (not in US$) didnt changed much for these coins. Anyway, i assume risks and consequences. ANd the big difference among us, is i am not a mercenary like many of you, that just followed the hype.. i am talking about them who are here for few fast bucks, .. i am different because i am for the longterm as i BELIEVE in blockchain.. and i didnt took this decision as if i was blind or stupid! I did my propper research long time ago, and strongly think crypto will be a standard in the future.. maybe not tomorrow, or next week, or month.. also not next year.. i am not in a hurry! i think i got everything i need to live...it took most of my life to realize material things wont make me happier.. i dont need much anymore because i found i was already happy .. I am not interested about lambos, mansions,... I am more interested in a more fair world for everyone. The big fishes (venture capital, banks...) have their profits being cutted, and this makes me really happy! Our life quality will improve in the longterm.. almost everything will be public, transparent and fair... Mark this post and come back later in 10 years: 9 dec 2028! Some sacrifices are really needed to make money so if you are taking the chances to invest your money you need some property so I definitely agree your thoughts to make money but it really giving the huge risk for your future to buy the car again

It was a big risk and I'm glad it paid off, but this isn't an example that everyone should follow. Crypto can be very unpredictable, and it is just as easy to lose everything you put in as it is to make big gains.
But well done!

Remember me? I liquidated my position, must admit i had good luck choosing the altcoins where I invested the ETH earned from the car sold.
As always.. balls of steel, now ALL IN on a project I really love and think will make me also get a lot of money
I have been following this project for the last 2 months. I liked it so much that few weeks ago i contacted with their CEO and joined ALL IN .
And i will let you know why:
Algorithm trading with exponential profits simplified to the bare minimum, so eveyrone could be able to earn money simply pressing a button. So my grandma won't need any trading knowledge and stress herself.
So holders would benefit in 2 ways:
a) GRAYLL will trade for you, and get more than a decent ROI
b) GRX's token price will increase as newbies jump into the market. hassle/stress free profits.

Congratulations! It was a very risk, but you came just at a time when there were many investors on the market who were ready to invest in cryptocurrency, now this risk would not be justified.

I think, many people are interested in some fresh information He told us that he will gonna hold it for exactly 10 years and as of now, one year hasn't passed yet. so the waiting period will be 9+ years more after that you can ask him again the question you've ask now. the question is if you are still alive at that time or he. Anyway, a lot of things can be happen between those times and let's see where this hodl will bring you. |

Regardless of what the guy experiences now, and what expects him in 2028, the lesson is to never trade with something you can't afford to lose, specially when it involves other poeple's money. Just don't do it, if not for anything else, at least to keep yourself sane and not die from stress. |

You are really funny mate, but it seems you have chosen not the right coin. BTC has done much better and made at least 3x science 2018. ETH must do something, because if price would not go up, people would start getting disappointed.

It seems that the choice was not so bad .. The price of Ethereum has fallen much more than the price of Bitcoin, which is why in my opinion it has much more growth potential and a much bigger increase in %. If OP has still not sold his ETH, I am sure that he will enjoy the profit soon.. |

As the OP said tha he is into Long term then I guest he did a good decision since the price whe he bought is around $95 and now see its price. Maybe their car is not useful enough for them, they might have some reason, I hope he's still holding their ETH now so they already gain profit now.

As low as the cryptocurrency market is at the moment, he still has his capital in eth more or less. One thing I picked from his investment is also the fact that he bought the Ethereum at very low rate. 2028 is still a far year from now but cryptocurrency has a bright future and so is Ethereum, so it's a win win for the OP |

with the advent of Uber and Lyft, the existence of private cars came in handy. in a market like this, it is very difficult to produce Ethereum, but if he becomes an uber or Lyft driver he can collect monthly money to buy Ethereum or other coins... My friend is a Grab driver (driver application in Southeast Asia) and he is setting aside $ 150 / month to invest in Bitcoin, Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash, at the moment his assets are more than mine. |
