Ripple was even better compared to the EOS. Ripple gains the stable value and it can defend its price from the bitcoin's impact and i thought that's enough to prove ripple as the promising altcoin to invest in the next year.

Even if Ripple gained an upper hand when the market declined right now, it will not change the fact that many peoples depised this coin a lot because of its centralization.
it is more like a bank, some of us are here for its decentralization and this kind of project does not meet their criteria.

I guess its already given that ETH and BTC shall remain as the top coins for 2019 and so on. I won't say that "all" altcoins are going to be trash next year, there are still interesting altcoins out there that you should look for but many of them are going to be kicked off to the market due to the dominance of the king.
