Yes, when I loose the casino makes money on my and so? In my case gambling is a way to spend my time with fun and I pay for it and it happens that I am in plus from that. The same way I would spend money for a night club or other kind of fun. Everything costs money.

Your post has nudged me to think of what can be done to make gambling more productive regarding the education. As we all know, there are movies from which we can learn something and there are those intended purely for entertainment. Although we can't be learning all the time and that's why we need the gambling as it is now, to have an opportunity to relax from hard work or from studying, we still can sometimes combine the latter with gambling. Imagine if there were a site where you can learn English, for instance, while gambling. I think such a site could become pretty popular.

Even though gambling can teach some life decision for us just like others like about control our emotions while doing something.But its just very small part to be considered in my opinion since we can get that lesson from some other life experience with free or low cost.

Never thought that gambling is a waste of time, maybe to others who has a lot of things on their plate and has no time to go to a casino or log-in to an online casino its a waste of time for them but for me, going to a casino is a stress reliever. You can gamble for your life by doing another else but don't gambling in the gambling games because you will not reach your goals. It is better if you can do another thing to earn money every day or every month and save that money for your life. And I am sure that in someday, you can reach one by one of your goals.

But there are a lot of things that can affect this control of ourselves for example our emotion or feelings. For example, you are winning 20 win streak and you have now a profit that is close to 30 times more than your money that you brought. For people that is saying control is the secret, they will eventually go out of gambling sites or casinos but for people that are greedy, they will not stop as long as they are feeling the pleasure of winning a lot of money. That is the reason why they are in the casino at the first place, right?

I personally don't gamble because am not lucky with it a few times I've tried for fun (money not involved) so because of this, I don't gamble when money has to be involved cus I know I will never win, am not rich yet so maybe when I become rich (probably very soon, in the next bitcoin bull run) then I can gamble just for fun, so that even if I loose money, I won't take it to heart cus I already knew I will loose it

Some people can, maybe you personally can get that lesson from other activities, but people are different. If a 20 years old young guy or girl can get a life lesson while losing $50, and because of that lesson he/she will know how to keep one’s temper in check, maybe it's not that high of a price.

But I was talking about different kinds of lessons actually. I was talking about games during which people would be able to learn something useful, like biology, chemistry, physics or foreign languages. I think those kinds of games is what we lack as of today.

Is it your own opinion based on your own experience or just an opinion based on what you hear/see out there? If it is based on your own experience then just stop gambling as it is not good for you at all, but if it is just based on what you hear then you can be wrong because waste of time or not is obviously gambler's own perception on how they deal with their activity (gambling).

There are many reasons to gamble one of the most common is that people like to get some fun, if you think that is a waste of time and money I can respect that but if you use that kind of logic then any moment that you choose to entertain yourself and in which you use money is a waste of money and time, so watching TV or playing video games is also a waste of time using that logic, but humans are not computers you need to have some moments to rest and to have fun so you can work harder.

I gamble for fun and to socialize with my friends or other people. I honestly think that gambling is not a good hobby to start with. Most in my family likes gambling, I think it's a complete waste of time and money. If you play for fun, it would be less stressful and you will be more productive.
