http://www.htmlcoin.com/_/rsrc/1393183325920/config/customLogo.gif?revision=5HTMLCOIN is now open for public use The HTMLCOIN community aims to build strong network of users, create robust apps for goods & services, spread awareness about cryptocurrency through charity, and facilitate a healthy decentralize monetary environment for all. The community is giving away coins to student organizations, advocacy groups, and charitable organizations all over the world! We are positioning our coin towards students, non-for-profit organization, and charitable institutions. Htmlcoin is composed of professionals and graduate students who are supporting our community. Below is our explaination about our coin: A big difference from Other Altcoins People always ask “what makes us different from other altcoins?” --the answer is that we are focusing in integrating the “use” of htmlcoin to the “mainstream,” not just within the enclave of early adopters (Techy people like you and me). Mainstream would mean to the public, common people you meet on the street. In the coming months we will be releasing android apps to make htmlcoin mobile. This will ease the burden among users by taking htmlcoin with them, in the pocket, anytime-anywhere! We want our coin ubiquitous, with almost omnipresent characteristics like fiat physical coin. Making htmlcoin mobile will solve the problem of time and space. User’s don’t have to open bulky laptop, or even worst, desk computer to make transaction. Easing the burden would positively affect the acceptance among mainstream users; this is the very core of the HTMLCOIN Community - cryptocurrency integration to the public. We believe that the recent IRS guidelines strengthen cryptocurrency's intended use as a medium of exchange. However, mainstream still view cryptocurrency being illegal and difficult to comprehend. HTMLCOIN Community want to change this negative stereotype about altcoin by educating the public about the many benefits of cryptocurrency and its potential application to offer in everyday life. We do this via social media and awareness drive. For HTMLCOIN government regulation means that cryptocurrency is not going anywhere, but it is here to stay for good. I get those too. They seem to be normal for some wallets. For anywone who (like me) doesn't trust the installer, here is the archived qt wallet: http://we.tl/7MsJ8RIPW7I extracted them by running installer in sandbox.

And you do trust a standalone qt wallet because? A .exe can be as dangerous as an installer.

Post standalone qt wallet. No one trusts an installer.
And you do trust a standalone qt wallet because? A .exe can be as dangerous as an installer. Virustotal doesn't unpack installers => You can scan the qt easier, but the installer just adds one more level of packing. Like in this case: the installer showed clean, but the qt had 2 signatures that show on other wallets too, so maybe normal. Not to say that I completely trust the qt, but it seems lower risk to me. You're welcome.
