Europex isn't able to get working nodes too... Please contact us when your coin network is back online.

Aren't you able to fix your primary node 199.175.53.179 ?

This is not good... the same day of the mailing for your gift !

The pool is currently de-activated due to coin daemon issues. Follow us on Twitter for updates: https://twitter.com/majorminers

Define "maintenance."  Little issue or big issue?  Are we going to lose coins or is this coin going to disappear?
Or are we worried for nothing and everything will be fine shortly?

the coin will not disappear but the wallet can't synchronize, it needs more nodes

Expanding Membership and Request for Node Connections.

HTMLCOIN is overwhelmed by the response coming from miners, traders, and community members. Our community is expanding exponentially, this is a "positive sign" for all of us!

With this positive development, expanding number of users, there are also some work need to be done. That is, to make sure that the community have stable connections.

There is a need for the HTMLCOIN community members to initiate in  establishing more nodes.

We will sent email to all Vanguard miners for this "request for additional node in the system."

We are hopeful that stakeholders of HTMLCOIN community will respond to this request, building a stable and strong HTMLCOIN community.

This is a group effort. We are hopeful that miners and stakeholders will share their resources in this node creation project.

  • The website isnt even made by someone who knows HTML (Google Sites wtf?) and looks awful
  • The "unique" concept is 1:1 that what every copycoin tries to argument
  • Scrypt - not that in a few months scrypt will be obsulite for normal miners trough ASICS
  • The repo is empty and the dev obviously never used Github before

Not gonna mine that, and would suggest that you guys dont mine it ether. IMHO.
But do what you want.

But about that website thing. Thats like Ruby coin is stealing the name and the logo but isnt even made in Ruby. I would believe that someone who calls his coin HTMLcoin is able to create proper HTML.

so what do you suggest?
any algorithm will be taken over by asics sooner or later. have you got a computer program that is computer proof?

yes and no, point is that Scrypt ASCIS exist and are used. Just waiting to get mainstream. And from the design Scrypt has, its clearly possible to create sole chips that do that job. For example Scrypt-n, what would have been just a small modification for the dev, is kinda ASIC resistant as it needs a high amount of memory. Same goes for SHA3. Its possible to create chips for that, but it would be a chip + expensive memory modules + more. what is more cost intensive and so will take longer until someone developes a cost effective method, if even.

Basicly every Scrypt coin that gets released now is ether from a dev who doesnt know better, what suggests that its just a money sheme or is clearly not made to survive for longer than a few months.

If only a few asics hit this coin you will see a high decrease from your mining earnings. What means that someone has way to much, who will probably also sell it for way less than you want it to be selled what results in a price drop until nobody buys anymore. 1 guy with probably only 1 nice scrypt asic could ruin this coin from one moment to the other.

Its your decission where you put your resources, money, time in but all i can see here is one of the 2 above shemes.
