  • The website isnt even made by someone who knows HTML (Google Sites wtf?) and looks awful
  • The "unique" concept is 1:1 that what every copycoin tries to argument
  • Scrypt - not that in a few months scrypt will be obsulite for normal miners trough ASICS
  • The repo is empty and the dev obviously never used Github before

Not gonna mine that, and would suggest that you guys dont mine it ether. IMHO.
But do what you want.

But about that website thing. Thats like Ruby coin is stealing the name and the logo but isnt even made in Ruby. I would believe that someone who calls his coin HTMLcoin is able to create proper HTML.

so what do you suggest?
any algorithm will be taken over by asics sooner or later. have you got a computer program that is computer proof?

yes and no, point is that Scrypt ASCIS exist and are used. Just waiting to get mainstream. And from the design Scrypt has its clearly possible to create sole chips that do that job. For example Scrypt-n, what would have been just a small modification for the dev, is kinda ASIC resistant as it needs a high amount of memory. Same goes for SHA3. Its possible to create chips for that, but it would be a chip + expensive memory modules + more. what is more cost intensive and so will take longer than someone developes a cost effective method, if even.

Basicly every Scrypt coin that gets released now is ether from a dev who doesnt know better, what suggests that its just a money sheme or is clearly not made to survive for longer than a few months.

Its your decission where you put your resources, money, time in but all i can see here is one of the 2 above shemes.
chips are getting cheaper memory is already cheap and getting cheaper, so your thinking is wrong. who in 2009 though mining btc on a single computer would be useless?
every coin that gets mainstream will eventually need farms to mine! no matter what system they use. if it is worth it people will pay high prices to mine. again look at btc, one small minner costs $1000's and will only be good for less than 6 months!

Components may be cheap, developing a cost effective method to use them clearly not. Its not about that a big coin would need more resources to be mined, its about that a single, private, miner can do nothing with his graphics card. For sure that worked for bitcoin, but its also the reason why we now have a new coin each day.

"if it is worth it" i am with you on this. Lets say someone releases a scrypt coin with lets say a shop with self printed t-shirts that only takes that specific coin, there is a value and people probably would be ok to invest money to get more.  But this coin has nothing unique, nothing special, nothing that wasnt seen before on here atleast 20 times. For my understanding its just a dogecoin clone with a crappy website.

I think you just dont want to understand me, so i am not going into to much details as everything is said. If you are interested, i suggest to use google and search for terms like "scrypt asics", you will find a lot of discussions which show you some of the side effects.

you arent ether Wink

a few more things next to spammy behavior the dev shows in this thread

We use "google sites business" to minimize website attack. We do not't use wordpress, usually free template.

Bullshit claim, he would use cloudflare or something different if that would be his point. This is just pathetic.
And what is this about Wordpress? Who talked about wordpress, is that all he knows else?

...
Strong support from fellow altcoin community.
...

who clearly hide somewhere.

...
A big difference from Other Altcoins
...

its basicly 1:1 the same claim as Coinyecoin, Rubycoin, Worldcoin and many many others. Yeah some succeeded, but they also all had something unique or atleast a website.

and so on ...

About the sheep/parrot thing, i could actually say the very same about you. We both have people on "our side" who said similiar probably stupid things before. This is a bullshit claim aswell, as you dont even know me this is just offensive and childish.

To b1nary and Non-HTMLCOIN Community Members:

Growing Community

Our community is new and developing. We rely on the contributions and resources from our members. This is very essential in community base organization like us. Membership base organization mostly endure in time.

Website development, pool mining, and other infrastructure needed in running our coin are purely contribution from volunteers. We do not expect flawless and perfect performance from volunteer members.

As far as we are concern we have 6-12 months strategic plans that we are implementing, with the help of our community members as well.

Because we are new, many people are trying to test us, but we are here to stay!

I, as the public relation officer in this thread, specialize in technology innovation. Based on established studies, new technology will come and go, and very "few will stay."

Here in HTMLCOIN community, we do not adhere on erratic behaviors, such as changing script and keeping up new script just for the sake of being up-to-date. We have to evaluate if the changes are necessary for the development of our community and robust performance of our coin.

It is necessary for us to reiterate that we support charitable cause and encourage technology innovation, this is our core value.

People always ask “what makes us different from other altcoins?” --the answer is that we are focusing in integrating the “use” of htmlcoin to the “mainstream,” not just within the enclave of early adopters (Techy people like you and me).

To b1nary, we understand your concern and your support to the "cryptocurrency Revolution," if this is in your mind.

No idea why i still monitor this thread, but you didnt answer to any of my said flaws. No you repeated everything that was already said to let it look like you actually know what you are saying. Sorry when this comes over rude but i really dislike this behavior and many newbies will still fall for this.

So lets dig a little deeper.

We rely on the contributions and resources from our members
Who you are clearly missing. Most optimistic people in here seem to be non technical guys, this wont really help you. I am an early adopter and contributer on other coins, and know some others who do so. None of them would consider a scrypt copy coin without unique concept push worthy.

We do not expect flawless and perfect performance form volunteer members.
Well you cant, but the community would expect a near to flawless base to build on what is missing (IMHO)

As far as we are concern we have 6-12 moth strategic plans that we are implementing
Which not get mentioned anywhere, as far as i understand how community based contributions would work, they would atleast need to know what to do. For all the other idlers in here it would be interesting aswell where this coin is heading. Also not sure if anyone is even interested in moth strategies.  Wink

Because we are new, many people are trying to test us, but we are here to stay!
Said every coin ever.

I, as the public relation officer in this thread, specialize in technology innovation. Based on established studies, new technology will come and go, and very "few will stay.
This whole sentence makes me lol, yes for sure most technologie is not here to stay. This is very far from the actual point. Read on on the next point.

... such as changing script and keeping up new new script just for the sake of being up-to-date ...
I have to assume you talk about Scrypt. I hope you know what i mean with that. You missed the whole fucking point, Scrypt-N is not "the new Scrypt", its a try to remove the flaws that Scrypt has. Its more like a patch, not a new optional version.

We have to evaluate if the changes are necessary for the development of our community and robust performance of our coin.
Assuming again you know anything about what you are doing. Lets talk about the robustness of your coin.
Again back to the fact that you actually still use scrypt, and you seem to have missed that we actually use a gravity wall or similiar to secure a coin. Lets asume i have 10 titan asics, which i probably use to mine doge or whatever. Now i see that your network speed is even below my whole power. So i cant even use my whole system without creating a nearly instant fork or may i be evil enough to make a 51% attack and fuck up the whole coin. No problem from my side (if we still assume i have those bastards) what would you do?

Another thing is, if i hit with such a speed your not existing gravity wall wont stop me from mining way more coins than you decided one should be able to mine. Maybe i get 1 block per second and all the other users only will get orphans. I assume you know how difficulty works and that this actually was an issue before most coins implemented a gravity wall or digiwall (or whatever it is called). Just go a few months back and you will see most new scrypt coins whining about multipools.

No idea how fast your network is right now, but if the few MH/s i can see in the pool stats is everything everybody who has some btc to rent some miners would be able to attack your coin instantly and kill it, you would have to relaunch and give up.

If you happen to have a gravity wall (what i didnt find in your source) just name it so more experienced miners probably would consider your coin.

It is necessary for us to reiterate that we support charitable cause and encourage technology innovation, this is our core value.
No you dont, you actually use the technologie that came with litecoin. You missed every innovation since than other than random block awards. Even doge, which i assume you forked, is way more major today.

People always ask “what makes us different from other altcoins?” --the answer is that we are focusing in integrating the “use” of htmlcoin to the “mainstream,” not just within the enclave of early adopters (Techy people like you and me).
You already said that, but those are just words if you dont have any plans.

To b1nary, we understand your concern and your support to the "cryptocurrency Revolution," if this is in your mind.

omg what?

Our community already expressed our ideas and aspirations for our community.

We decided not to engage with this conversation, that will not go no where.

Please respect our community decision.

Sure, i'll leave. You and the rest of the yous you are instantly talking about will surely make this a success Wink
(i still really would like to see where all this "community" happens he is instantly talking about, if anyone knows)

READ MY POST FROM ABOVE Especially about the missing gravity wall and no protection whatsoever

the dev/"community whatever" is not able to answer simple questions about their coin, and all the flaws he implemented. This coin could be insta killed by any miner with a little more hashing power. It could go well, it could be worthless within seconds. Just so you know

dont want to push again, but look at how he used the word "innovation" ^^

---BUILDING A STRONG COMMUNITY---

We understand that people are trying to test the strength of our community because we are new.

This process of people testing our community is normal in technology innovation. Those who believe and those who do not on the aspiration of our group.

Our community is not just about the currency, but the relationship we build as a group, developing our own identity.

Things like this will make us all strong and resilient, in the future.

Time will test us all as shakers and movers of this effort (cryptocurrency) we are all into.

UK Tech will be working it this weekend. They will be testing the KGW and this can take time. Gravity wall have some issues and we sdo not want that affecting our coin.
