Although Singapore is not big, it is one of the most developed countries in Asia! Many countries in Asia support the use of BTC!

Singapore is very advanced and techicaly developed country so I'm not surprised. But as far as I know similar is also possible in Japan that also strongly supports Bitcoin so Singapore is not the only one.
